About Me
I am Married to the most wonderful man I have ever known (besides my dad) Jake Davis. We have 2 boys, Lane (10) and John (4 almost 5) ... We are currently living in Texas; where I hope to stay :-) I'm originally from Washington State. Both my hubby and I were in the Army, I got out before he did... He returned from his last deployment to Afghanistan in May 2012 ... (thank goodness!!) Lets see .... I've had some medical problems in the past, I've had cancer 3 times since I was 22 I'm now 29, so I've become a huge supporter in Cancer Survivors and Cancer Research as my hubby and I have donated money to some research organizations.
Scrapbooking was introduced to me when I was stationed in Japan by some good friends of mine and I instantly fell in love with it!! I just recently about a year ago started experimenting with Digital ... and I've gotta say I think my Digitals are better than my paper layouts LOL ... I also make cards, Altered Art ... Home decor, etc ... I've decked out my boy's room with canvas's, altered picture frames, Styrofoam blocks, etc ... most of them are posted on my blog. My husband draws (and is extremely good!) it seems to run in his family!!
I look forward to learning new techniques, meeting new friends with the same passion(s) and having an awesome time creating new things :-)
Description
In 2011 we were stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado (just outside the city limits of Colorado Springs). We went hiking at Pikes Peak and had a lot of fun before my husband deployed to Afghanistan.
The second photo is a family photo that we took just after he got returned home (technically it was taken this year but I didn't have enough space to put both years and it still be big enough to read ) Fun Times!

@Diane, Thank you so much! That really means a lot to us!! Especially now, we were so badly shewed out of a bank today because of our military service and the fact that we could be called back to duty at any time! We were so upset!
This is a beautiful layout! Your husband's service and your sacrifice are appreciated!
Great layout!
Thank you! I had to move the title around to get it to look right to me LOL :-)
Lovely layout. I love how you created the title.
