About Me
I am Married to the most wonderful man I have ever known (besides my dad) Jake Davis. We have 2 boys, Lane (10) and John (4 almost 5) ... We are currently living in Texas; where I hope to stay :-) I'm originally from Washington State. Both my hubby and I were in the Army, I got out before he did... He returned from his last deployment to Afghanistan in May 2012 ... (thank goodness!!) Lets see .... I've had some medical problems in the past, I've had cancer 3 times since I was 22 I'm now 29, so I've become a huge supporter in Cancer Survivors and Cancer Research as my hubby and I have donated money to some research organizations.
Scrapbooking was introduced to me when I was stationed in Japan by some good friends of mine and I instantly fell in love with it!! I just recently about a year ago started experimenting with Digital ... and I've gotta say I think my Digitals are better than my paper layouts LOL ... I also make cards, Altered Art ... Home decor, etc ... I've decked out my boy's room with canvas's, altered picture frames, Styrofoam blocks, etc ... most of them are posted on my blog. My husband draws (and is extremely good!) it seems to run in his family!!
I look forward to learning new techniques, meeting new friends with the same passion(s) and having an awesome time creating new things :-)

I like your layout - both the colors and the fact that you are not afraid to use glitter on a "boy" page.
About getting caught up - I have 3 daughters, all adults and 4 grandchildren ages 9 months to 7 years to get "caught up" on and I'm just starting. I keep taking pictures so I know I at least have the memories.
The papers you used are great ~ your colors work well together, I think. I can't read the alpha very well, but maybe you were wanting to minimize their visability. Love the way you did your journalling. Good way to use your child's birthday pictures!
Thank you Elaine!
Great color combination and wonderful titlework
Thank you Jennifer!
This is adorable. I love all the elements you combined.
