If you use a reader for blogs, you're probably well aware that Google Reader is closing soon, which caused a big flurry of action for everyone who was using it. I've pretty comfortably switched to using Feedly. And I just noticed a new feature, which I'm not sure is actually new, or if I was just snoozing. But I thought I'd point it out in case your in the same boat as me.
Would you like to win next week's bundle? Leave a guess for which country you think the sneak peak represents and I'll pick a random winner after Sunday. Be sure to mention if you'd like CU or PU download in the comment as well!
Today is my parents 32nd anniversary! And I thought we should celebrate it here a bit since without them, I wouldn't be here! Two brave and inspiring people, they have been living and working abroad for the last 15 years. Life was certainly never boring!
Over the weekend we had the chance for a quick getaway to Aqaba, which is down on the Red Sea. It's significantly hotter down there at sea level in the desert, it usually stays around 100F/40C. There's great scuba diving and snorkeling, although this time we just relaxed by the pool.
You may know that I've been working on a monthly list layout. Somehow May is almost over and I just managed to make my April layout. But at least I managed to finish it, so I'm feeling good. I used this month's DST blog train.
This week's bundle comes to you from Tunisia! Tunisia is an important country to us because it's where Jordan was born and lived the first 11 years of his life. Last summer we were able to take a trip there with his family, which was my first time, to visit lots of places with special memories.
I wanted to make this post yesterday, but because of time zones, I didn't want to give away my Mother's Day gift before I actually gave it to my mom!
Gifts can be tricky is you're not around to do something in person, and you've already given your Mom 20 cards or so. So this year, after some brainstorming with my sister, we determined to give my mom a Pinterest board!
Thanks everyone for participating in the Pin to Win Contest over the weekend. I randomly selected two winners: Lou Anne H. and Saskia S! Congrats ladies, I've sent you both your DC to download your wish list.
Summer has arrived here in Amman. I know some of you are still getting snow, and wondering if spring is coming, but we've moved through spring and it's hot now. The evenings are still pleasant, and we enjoy sitting out in the front garden watching the neighborhood go by.
Brooke and I have an exciting collaboration coming up this next week. Hope you like it!
It's time for another Pin to Win contest! If you've been keeping your Pixel Scrapper wishlist on Pinterest up to date, great! If you're just getting started, that's great too! Be sure to pin the graphic below to your board and leave a link to your board in the comments. I'll be picking a winner on Tuesday.
Hi all! Are you excited for this busy weekend? It looks like there are lots of super fun things happening around the internets. There's a thread going here where you can share all the fun things you find.
