Getting Back in the Swing
It's raining, raining, raining. Snow is still in the forecast for later in the week and I think most of us are crossing our fingers that we'll get to see some. There's something special about experiencing snow in the desert.
Last year we had a nice big snow storm. Amman is a very hilly city so a little bit of ice goes a long way in making it treacherous. But it was really fun to take a walk around the neighborhood and see everyone out enjoying the weather. A couple men had even stolen their wives' tea trays to go sledding.
Despite the stormy weather, or maybe because of this forced stay home time, we've been trying to get back in the swing of things after the holidays. Our to-do list is longer than ever and we have lots of things planned for the new year. Already we've made a big change in the pricing of kits, and you can expect more changes with pricing and donations. We're searching for just the right balance so that everyone can get the most out of the site, so stay with us while we experiment and leave us your feedback.
Also high on the to-do list is making some significant changes to the designer role here at Pixel Scrapper. I'm really hoping that soon we'll be able to allow everyone to share at least a little bit with the community. So if you're interested in sharing a few designs, or giving back to the community, your chance is coming. I'm also hoping to get more regular designers to join Brooke and me here as well. More details about both of these opportunities will be available when those features are ready to go.
I have lots of new designs ready to share with you, as well as some old designs that have been hiding out. You can count on there always being something new happening here, so don't be a stranger!
I love digital scrapbooking. I also love to read and bake cookies. Especially while drinking tea. I've lived around the world, and love to travel, which is usually the theme of most of my scrapping projects.
