Gallery Spotlight & Challenge Winner: May 16
It's been a couple weeks since I highlighted some of my favorite layouts from the gallery. So here goes...
I love this layout by Sarah. I like the irregular journal strips.
And the whole layout has a pleasing flow between the three main focuses.
This layout by Harriett is super fun.
I love the photos peeping out from behind the paper
and how the elements bring the focus into the main photo.
This layout by Lady Phillipa show great personalization of a template.
The clean layout works great to showcase photos in uniform,
and of course I love to see the the Coast Guard Bundle in use!

Happy Mother's Day!
I wanted to make this post yesterday, but because of time zones, I didn't want to give away my Mother's Day gift before I actually gave it to my mom!
Gifts can be tricky is you're not around to do something in person, and you've already given your Mom 20 cards or so. So this year, after some brainstorming with my sister, we determined to give my mom a Pinterest board!
The great thing about this gift is that it's not over! We can keep pinning stuff there until Pinterest runs out of pins.

New: Oxford Bundle
The beginning of our Europe trip was in Oxford. Jordan's sister was there studying for a Masters and we had a couple lovely weeks staying with her and exploring the town.
I often get upset that I can't live in England, because I've spend more time reading than I have living in one place, and the most consistent setting from my reading is England. Thanks a lot Jane Austen and JK Rowling.
I've always loved this bundle. It's probably one of my favorites if you made me choose. I love the vintage/old vibe that matches my Oxford photos so well.
Photo A Day: Update #1
I've successfully completed four days of my summer photo a day challenge! See the end of this post for details about joining me.
Day 1: Val enjoys lounging in the office window.
Day 2: Jordan crosses the street to Souk Shaker, a neighborhood grocery store.
Day 3: Always classic at the ballpark.
Day 4: My desk. I couldn't decide this morning between hot tea and cold tea.
