Traveling Around Jordan: Wadi Dana
This last week we had the chance to get out of the city and do a little camping. We revisited several favorite places, and I thought this would be a good chance to get back to showing you around the great country of Jordan.
We spent two nights camping at the Wadi Dana nature preserve. The campsite is a little more than two hours from Amman.
"Wadi" just means valley in Arabic, so it's commonly used in place names, and Jordan has lots of spectacular wadis to visit. Wadi Dana is no exception.
I've only visited in the spring, but it's a great time to go since the wildflowers are in bloom. And since we had an exceptionally rainy winter, the desert ground was covered in new growth.
When you signed up for an account here at Pixel Scrapper, you may have received a free copy of the At the Wadi Bundle, which was inspired by my weekend at this glorious campsite.
I love digital scrapbooking. I also love to read and bake cookies. Especially while drinking tea. I've lived around the world, and love to travel, which is usually the theme of most of my scrapping projects.
