Description
This is my very first digital scrapbook layout, ever...and I even managed to do it in CS4 and not PSE6! Big step for me!
I followed a "style" I would typically use in my paper layouts, so if you find this completely ugly- my apolgoies. If you see anything I could work on, please point it out! 
This was out first official halloween as a family, as my husband was deployed during halloween last year. These are my twin boys, Carter & Mason dressed as Batman & The Joker.

Your first digi layout is waaaay better than mine was, back in the past :) The good thing of coming from paper scrap to pixel scrap is that its easier to see that some things cant go under others, because in 3D - glue reallity they wouldn´t go! Or, if they go, they mark the layer on the top, like you did with the twine... Of course, you don´t need to think on all your layouts in a realistic way...
Well, I liked your layout, and I think its pretty good! And, if you want a hint, try to add shadows to the next one! Just right click on the layer on the layer window and choose blending options. There, you will find shadows and other options. This was the most useful hint that was given to me when I was starting, and thats why I am sharing this with you :D *heart*
