A couple years back for my 40th birthday year, I started an AAM "All About Me" album. I haven't finished it yet since life kind of got in the way. kind of ironic, I wanted to scrap about myself and life stopped me. LoL
Any how... I thought I would share some of the ideas/topics I wanted to cover on the pages within it. Is anyone else doing an AAM album? What ideas for themed pages are you hoping on including? If anyone has any ideas that they did or are going to do in theirs, please share with us!
So... I'm gonna copy and paste them all into one list type post in post number 2 of this thread as you all share for easy access for anyone who wants them as a reminder later on or for ease of use to newbies.
Note: If someone does at a later date want more detailed info, feel free to read the individual posts below the second one for peoples exact thoughts.

This is a great idea! I'm coming up slowly on needing a new project to work on and I'm thinking something like this, or at least more focused on daily life. I've started this board on Pinterest to help get me thinking:

I'd love to see what people have been working on for "all about me" scrapping.
I just came across this post about doing a monthly faves list, seems like a cool idea, http://www.nettiodesigns.com/2013/01/24/monthly-faves-the-2013-edition/#
I started writing a family history a few years back. So far I've covered most of the previous generations, as far as family lore goes. I had only a few photographs to use as illustrations. Perhaps albums like this would be a better cover for my generation and younger, since we have so many photos available. And also we are all still around to interview.
Perhaps this is too heavy of thought, but I have been thinking that it might be of interest to future generations of what I think and feel about world events - For example, how do I feel and see the Vietnam War, or the advent of computers and cell phones, 9/11, the election of the first black president, the Deep Sea Horizon Oil Spill, electronic books, The Japan earthquake and tsunami, women in combat....etc. I know that I would have LOVED to know what my grandparents thought about the invention of the automobile, television, radio, etc.
Great idea!! I'm a huge genealogy buff. This would fit right in with interviews I did with my parents (actually ended up putting their responses into a bound book). I'm thinking it may not be a bad idea to do something similar for my girls about my husband's and my life...or at least start it.
@Marisa - I just fell in love with Monthly faves project - I must include it on my yearbook, or at least at my blog-a-day project.
@Shawna: I have the plan to start a "Book of me", which the first project dates from 3 years ago - well, those are the topics I included on the project back there
1- The story of my name
2- On the day I was born... (well, it makes sense for me, as I was born in a winter solstice - and, on that year, it was also Corpus Christi holiday)
3- On the year I was born...
4 - My favorite animal
5 - My favorite colors (as I have two, red and purple, I´d do two pages)
6- When I was a baby (ok, I know you had this idea to... but it´s the only one that matches)
7- The first poem I learned by heart (I know lots of them :p)
I stopped here, and it´s not a project I think I´ll start still this semester. But things can change...
I also think I'm going to do a monthly faves pages. Might not get it finished before the end of the month, but I'm at least going to write down the list...maybe make sure I have a photo...
Great ideas! I have a few 'all about me' pages, but they are not just about me... They are about me in relation to the people I love most. Why and what I love about my mom, my husband, my pets... I left the kids out, because they already have lead-parts in all the rest of my scrapping layouts.
One of my favorite "all about me" layout that i made was: 10 things i love about me
Cause when you do it you actually have to think hard on what you are really good at and we don't usaly stop and do that
Ok Ladies: I caught up with y'all so far
I kind of combined some things that were similar and added to others, etc... I think I got the general idea from everyone so far. If someone wants more details, I added to my original post saying they could read the indiviual posts if they wanted more exact details of peoples thoughts.
The last posts made me remember a paper scrap layout I made more or less 2 years ago:
It´s called "20 random words describing me", and the words are Books - Sun - Papers - Peace - Stickers - Philosophy - Flowers - Chocolate - Friends - São Paulo - Dawn - Mess - Poetry - Red - Grece - Love - Cildren - Art - Gods
Did you paint that flower on the side of it??? Great layout! Great idea, about the 20 random words about me! I'll add it to the list.
In fact, this is a paper from Scenic route that comes with this branch, but this came with no outline. I used a 0,2 mm pen to trace some outlines on the flowers, and a grey 0,5mm pen to add some internal details. When I use a decorated page to paper scrap I often add details to the decoration :p Here is another page with the same paper. You can probably see the differences if you look closely
It makes an awesome difference... what a great idea/tip to add details for my paper scrapping! I will definitely have to remember it for future use.
Well, I have already taken on a huge project for myself for 2013 but thank you for sharing your All About Me topic list! It will be great to have when I needs some journaling inspiration!
For all the mommy's among us: I found a cute mommyblog with a ton of ideas in one of her posts; "30 things my kids should know about me" Lots of 'all about me'-ideas for memorykeepers!
