my name is Vanessa, and I live in the north of France, near Lille.
I am the mother of three (one girl of 5 and two boys of 2 1/2). I married their father last november (but we are living together since 2004). We had a nice black and white cat... though a little fool.
That's my twins' pregnancy that gave me a lot of time to websurfing that enabled me to discover digiscrap. But I only had my first experience a couple of weeks ago when making my wedding album.
I crossed Pixel Scrapper about a year ago for the first time, and love what Marisa and others designers create. I well use their creations for my wedding album. I will try to post some photos soon but they are still quite simple...
Hi, I love to create art and take photos. I lucked onto this site while I was looking for a digital ribbon I could use on a show poster I was creating for a theater company. I looked around, enjoyed the artwork, read the TOU, and liked the concept and community. Digital scrapbooking is a good fit for my need to create while we’re on the road, because the “art supplies” travel easily, it is inexpensive, not messy, and I can make and send electronic gifts to friends and family.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, a mother of two, and soon to be grandmother.
In my life I’ve been an artist; weaver; photographer, costume designer and creator; director; actor; teacher; dancer; twirler; flautist; web designer and graphic artist; lighting designer; ceramic artist; painter; quilter; personal home builder and architect, editor, fundraiser; non-profit board member; active volunteer; written stories, music, plays and musicals; and created a theater company and acting school for children and adults.
I love to learn new things and share things I love with people I love.
Whatever I do, I do with an all-consuming passion, and then life comes along and turns me down another path. Currently that is travel photography and writing.
My husband and I started a website to share the travel photos and video we’re taking, but we haven’t told anyone about it, because there is so much more to add. I guess that will always be the case, so here is the site in progress http://travelgravy.com/
I think the thing I wrestle with the most lately is deciding to create a new memory or record an old one. We’re currently in Hawaii, so creating is winning.
Hello! My name is paco, I live in Valencia in Spain and i am currently studying business management administration, although I love the world of photography. I discovered scrapbooking a few years ago but when I discovered this page I could not stop downloading all resources to decorate all my photographs and decorate the digital albums all destinations I visit whit my girlfriend.
Now I want to participate more actively in this great family! thank you!
It's good to get to know you, Marisa and Jordan. Toby looks like he would be a dear after he got to know you! I have just recently joined Pixel Scrapper and look forward to everything you have to teach me making me a better Photoshop scrapper. Thanks for your dedication. Your layouts are beautiful and very inspiring.
To introduce myself, I guess I should begin with the fact that I'm not very good with traditional paper scrapping and when I discovered digital scrapping, I left all my paper packed away and have not looked back at it in two or three years. I found Pixel Scrappers when looking for ways to improve my Photoshop skills. I don't remember the exact problem I was having at the time, but found so much more than the answer when I started reading Marisa's tutorials!
My husband and I are retired, have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 new-born great-grandson. We are blessed with a happy and loving family. They have always encouraged me in my endeavors, whether it is crafting, decorating, working, or simply learning a new skill. They all have been the recipients of a scrapped layout or two!
I use Photoshop 7: admittedly it is not the latest and greatest, but it is fine for me, and there is a lot that I still can learn about it.
We live in north central Texas at the moment and have been back here 23 or 24 years. I grew up in the area. My husband is from Nashville, Tennessee, and retired from GTE / Verizon when he was 50 years old. We have our house on the market and are thinking about moving back to North Carolina, where we lived on 3 different occasions with GTE, and where my daughter and her family have lived since she got married.
I hope you all will bear with me. I hope to contribute as often as I can. I belong to a scrapping sharing group on Yahoo and enjoy the friendships I have made there. I don't have as much time as I would like to scrap, but my husband would probably say that I do way more than he thinks I should! He doesn't mind, really, but I do get preoccupied with it, when I start!
I look forward to learning more about each of you and seeing all of the many, wonderful layouts here. I know I will learn a lot.
Welcome everybody! I love to read introductions posts because it´s nice to know about your different backgrounds, and about your life stories. We will love your company here!
Hi all, I'm Arwen and I have founf this page while I was looking to download some papers. Glad that I'm here now!
I'm from Spain, I'm 28 years old and I love spending my time creating things. I have a lot of time to spend doing just what I like, so I'm almost always with Photoshop, it's becoming my best friend
A huge hug for all
Pacooooooo!!! Nice to meet you, I'm from Spain too
Hello everybody, I am Swiss-German and live in the South of Spain. I have always been a creative soul but my digital adventure has only started a couple of months ago, when I came across the Silhouette Cameo cutting device. Now I am completely in love with this machine and its software program.
At the same time I started to search the Web for creative sites, blogs, tutorials etc. and came across Pixelscrapper, which left me speechless when I saw all the fantastic designs people are creating and so generously sharing with others. This is so appreciated by a newbie like me! I hope that someday I will be able to give something back and share some of my own creations. I only work with Photoshop Elements since a week, but this afternoon I finally managed to create my first "thing" and I am so proud of me lol I followed one of the tutorials Melouise mentioned to create a polka paper and I was even able to include my creation into the Silhouette software to use it as a background.
I still have plenty of learning to do which includes how to show and share my own projects. So please be patient. I am looking forward to being part of this community and thank you for being so generous by sharing your knowledge and creations.
Welcome everyone! So glad to have you all here.
Hi I'm Laura and I discovered the scrap for my sister who lives in Italy, you make a s precious things, and you give a lot of ideas, just as we can save paper down your site, such as things are here in Spain ... Thanks for making me spend good times, I love your page
Hi, I'm Melissa and I live in southern Illinois. I am free lance graphic designer, love to take pictures and edit them, and also run a small hair accessory business out of my home, but most importantly I am a wife and a mother to my adorable daughter Amelia, and have a second daughter on the way! I found Pixel Scrapper not long ago and absolutely love it. It is a great site with awesome... everything!
I am ashamed to admit this but I have been trying to learn how to Organize my files since 2007 and it gets worse because I can't find anything and I am so frustrated. I need to know what I have and where to find it so I can finally start learning PSE 11.(I have purchaed every version since 6.0 and only have installed it none of the other ones) I want to create so bad but I haven't got a clue about how to do simple things in PSE. When I try to find out how to take the white out or cutout a part of a picture with success I can't find the help that says do this and this etc in a simple explaination. So I fiddle and it doesn't come out right. So I just keep org and try to remember where the files are I want to use. But I have not lost hope but just feels like I will have to search for the item I want to use first which isn't easy then after just try to learn on this item only first. Maybe I will build up my confidence? This is my new plan. (out of many plans I tried before) Wish me luck. I am very open to anyone who has coments good or bad because I would like feedback from someone other than myself. So if you want let me have it. I love this site and I think interacting with you all is going to be fun. Thanks for reading my introduction.
I'm Heather and I'm new to PixelScrapper! I heard about it through a friend. I don't think she uses it but knows someone who knows someone kind of thing. I have been digital scrapbooking for a year or so now. I haven't been doing as much as I'd like but I do do it. The program I use is Stampin' Up's My Digital Studio. I love it. It is a cross between a point and click program yet I can still tweak it. It is also a company I can stand behind. I have yet to find another digital program that I like as much but I love PixelScrapper's elements, enough so that I decided to figure out how to incorporate it!
So "about me"... I'm a Christian stay at home homeschooling mom! I wouldn't trade this life for ANYTHING! I tend to have a lot of different interests and hobbies which include (but not limited to) crafts (mostly paper crafts), computers, games, tv, movies, spending time with family, health and wellness, beauty... phew! That's a long enough list.
I look forward to seeing your layouts and creations and sharing mine with you.
Have a fantastic day,
Welcome everybody! If you have any trouble regarding to this site, or any other kind of question, just check out the forums, and, if you can´t find the answer, create a new topic
@Melissa - I´m trying to make some dog´s bows for sale - maybe we can share ideas on bows making!
@Jasmine - Take your time. I also have a silhouette, so, if you need any help on Studio, just post your doubt at digital scrapbooking discussion forum.
@Arwen: We have something in common: Names based on JRR Tolkien work!
Hi I'm Krista from Minnesota. I got into Scrapbooking when I finally realized my mother wasn't going to scrapbook or do anything with our photos from growing up. I went to a scrapbook weekend and realized all the work that goes into traditional scrapbooking and decided to try digital. I have been scrapbooking life ever since. I work in finance so scrapbooking and crafting is how I unwind.
Welcome everyone. Thanks for saying hello.
@Krista: Haha! That sounds just like my mom...
Greetings and salutations all! I'm Beth (aka Songbirdy) - currently living in WV, USA. Just popping in to say hello
Hi- I'm Keisha, and I live in Texas. I happened to stumble upon Pixel Scrapper yesterday while searching for some digitial paper for a baby shower invitation that I was working on for one of my best friends. This website is amazing, and I'm so thankful to have come upon it. I can't wait to explore new ideas. I know this site will be an inspiration to get busy on a lot of projects that I have been putting off for so long!

Siempre me ha gustado todo lo que tenga que ver con crear y sobre todo usando papel , asique cuando descubrí el scrap no podía creer la cantidad de personas en el mundo con la que sin saber compartía esta pasión , me alegra haberlos encontrado !!!!
Welcome everyone! Thanks for saying hello!
I have just joined this group through Sharon of Sweet Dreamer Designs as I am taking part in the same Designer contest that she is.
I am not a professional designer... not sure if I would ever be good enough for that.
I have been a cardmaker using rubber stamps since 1992 and in 2006 started paper scrapping with the birth of my first grandchild. Then in 2008 I discovered digital scrapbooking and love it.... no more glue marks where they are not meant to be... no more ink smudges...can change the embellishements and papers to match the photos.... etc.
I'm new to digital scrapbooking but i've been scrapbooking for about 15 years now and just love it. I'm married with 4 dog. we live in a small town in utah.
Just found this site today and am excited to get creating! I've been scrapbooking since 1997 and went digital about 4 years ago. I'm a stay at home mom to two little ones that keep me busy.
Long time lurker....first time poster.... I am learning how to design digitally and found this site some time ago. I'm married with 3 little monster... hello to all....
Welcome! Thanks for saying hello!
My name is Fritzie and I am a newbie here in PixelScrapper! I'm very excited to be part of this site. I just found out about digital scrapbooking and would like to expand my knowledge about it. I found it really fun and amazing! Looking forward to post my first kit or my first design using tons of freebies here! Thank you everyone.
I'm Bethany. My mom introduced me to pixel scrapper. We are both interested in developing our digital scrapbook designing skills. I recognize several of the patterns here from kits I've used! I'm 40, recently escaped from a miserable marriage with my 3 little kids. They keep me pretty busy, because they are all very active and I'm NOT full of energy! I have lots of ideas and dream of making some kind of future in design...maybe when my youngest starts Kindergarten I'll have more time to work on that...?
