I would call myself a traditional journaler. I love lots of layers and mixed elements but I just can't leave a page without the story! I am new though and scrapbook mainly for my baby so things will probably change
I think I scrapbook more towards the distressed style, but I like to work with fresh and traditional too. The one I am not really confortable at is fantasy. I`ve seen great fantasy pages around the web, but it seems like I very seldom get the courage to do that!
I don't think I have a style, I tend to scrap around the photo (meaning the photo as the main purpose) so if the photo is high quality edited then I tend to downplay the layout using less stuff in a simple way to keep it balanced and if the photos are in the moment & not one of those great shots I then will add more than the simple style to bring the layout out.
For a storytelling kid book (using your own kid s the story) the fantasy kits go great as page, theme, content & story layouts and there's no rules, to me it's pure creativity so I can work with no. 1, 2, 3 & 4
