About Me
Hey there,
I'm Janet. I was born and raised in Minnesota. My favorite title is mommy to two of the smartest, most beautiful, spunky, sweet girls out there. When I'm not taking care of the little peanuts, I run my photography and design businesses.
I stumbled across DigitalScrapbook.com early on when it was first started (before it became the site that it is today). Ironically, I ended up messaging Marisa to see if I could help contribute. I wanted to find a way to give back. Little did I realize that years later I would end up being fortunate enough to join this fab team! :)

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
Up until this past fall we had taken our eldest daughter to a local orchard to pick out her pumpkin. This year things didn't quite work out (I was actually on long term bed rest while pregnant) but we're looking forward to bringing both of our girls out pumpkin and apple picking this coming fall.
All Elements, with the exception of the string/bows which I made, and the clothespins are from the Apples kit by Brooke Gazarek. The clothespins can be found at Fuzzimo.com. Though heads up, you'll need to extract them from the white background...not too complicated, but it adds a bit of time to creating the layout.
Also, I drew inspiration from this amazing layout.
I absolutely love this mini kit! I just wish it could have been a full size kit. Oh, the things I could have done.

Just came across this as it was in the "more layouts like..." and it caught my eye. Love it!

I'm new here. Will I be able to download this template in the future? I love it!
Super cute! I love those clothespins. Great concept.
Love this Page. The colors are perfect!
creative!!!
Ack, I should have added the clothespin info to the description (I usually site everything used). I found them at fuzzimo.com. I'll go ahead and add that to the description as well.
Thanks again for all of your lovely comments!
Simple gorgeous! Where did you get the clothespins from?
what a wonderful layout this is! perfect!
What a fun thing to do! Amazing lo!
So cute!
where did you get those cute clothes pins!
ahw... this is... so COOL!!! I love everything about this, but the shadowing really rocks - you made it look real (even more real than the example layout). Like the clothespins too, so cute :D
Oh wow...thanks so much for all of the kind comments!
This layout was a bit more labor intensive than what I initially expected (it was the shadowing that seemed to take forever) but I knew it would be worth it in the end. I showed it to my daughter and she grinned from ear to ear and said said that she's excited for our trip this coming fall. So worth the work when she gets excited about layouts.
Again, thank you so much for all of the layout love. :)
I'm not a cook, and I'm not a foodie so the fact that I've hearted this layout is somewhat surprising. What's even more shocking is just how much I love it! I really think this is clever scrapping!
Wow! Genius! It is beyond adorable! You are a scrapbook rockstar. ;)
Beautiful! Hearting this one!!!
Such a cute idea!!
isnt this a beaut? i have done some bday layouts in the past where i wanted friends/family of the celebrant to write in the layout i created, but not everywhere all over the place. this is the idea that didnt seem to pop out my head! thanks for sharing here.
What a great idea to hang the elements and pictures on string. It works so well with the wooden background.
LOVE THIS Layout! So super cute! Also, great idea/usage - turning the tags vertical - and the treatment you gave them with clipping other things to the bottom half of them.
Janet... this is really beautiful! I saved this layout for inspiration!
BTW, You asked me how I made the 'lemon' shape for my layout so I left you instructions in the comments. https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/sites/default/files/s3fs-user-content/layout-image/user-131/node-10091/lost-lake-layout...
