About Me
Hey there,
I'm Janet. I was born and raised in Minnesota. In 2002 I met my dear hubby and in 2009, after a long wait we had our first baby girl, Annelyse. Then this past February we were surprised with the early birth of our second daughter, Sophia who was born three months premature. When I'm not taking care of my crazy, sweet, spunky, girls, I run my photography business. I must have ran across pixel scrapper early on when it was first started. I downloaded a few things but then got busy taking care of my first baby girl. Now I'm coming back and am very thankful for the resources that you provide. It's tough to find quality, free of charge, digital papers, layouts, and assets that can be used for commercial purposes.
Description
We waited ages for Sophia to finally be able to come home from the NICU (ended up being a couple of days shy of 2 months). Not long after she was finally released, I was able to get photos of my two beautiful girls together. Annelyse had been waiting so patiently to be able to kiss, touch, hold, and tickle her baby sister. From the beginning they've been just smitten with each other.
All supplies used were from the February Storyteller Kit Collection by Just Jaimee that can be found here. I've used this kit in a couple of layouts already and am in love. As much as I usually go for bold and vivid colors (and usually primary colors) I'm impressed with how many layouts I can see doing with this kit. It's so versatile.

I love things that are made up of smaller things... in this case the heart made up of smaller and different sized rounds! Great!!!
Thanks so much everyone! This is an incredibly special picture to my hubby and I. We waited a long time for our girls to be able to finally be together!
@Carrie, good point! I may need to go in there and burn the text a bit. It's actually all a .png image...but I agree it should somehow stand out more. :)
@Moontje, I designed the page on my own...just started out with a heart shape in the background then did all of the circles within on separate layers. It was a fun layout to design. After I got all of the hearts placed, I just hid the heart background and voila! :)
What a beautiful layout to highlight an amazing photo!
I love how you put all the buttons and circles into a heart shape! I wonder about making "remember this" stand out more, maybe by outlining each letter? Great colors! Thanks for sharing!
What a dreamy picture, so very lovely. The muted colors make it pop out extra, very well done!
