I'm Jess, and I love being creative, whether I'm scrapbooking, journaling, playing tuba, teaching voice, or singing jazz! I am currently a surrogate uploader for Sheila Reid.
I prefer paper scrapbooking but I've recently began to delve into the world of digital scrapbooking for it's cost effectiveness and for inspiration. My husband Michael has recently decided to go into photography as a business venture, so I figured some more skills in editing may come in handy with that too.
I use photoshop, many assets, templates, and kits from here, and an occasional helping hand from my husband. I have managed to gather a few thousand papers and embellishments so far, I just have to learn how to best use them to make exciting new creations!
Here's my layout for the August Childhood Challenge. I loved the theme for this challenge! I used to have a yellow dress that I loved, and I spent most of my childhood wanting to be a ballerina, so I thought I'd use that as my main idea. I've used marisa's flower background, because I was obsessed with drawing them, and the blossom background and butterflies I got in hard-copy paper and loved them.
