About Me
I'm a forty- something single Mom of a precocious little boy I call the Rascal. I'm also a full-time Middle School teacher. I love the digital age, which is why I chose digital scrap-booking over the traditional medium - less mess to clean up and more chance that my collection will get and stay organized! I don't find enough time for this hobby, but I keep trying.
Description
November 1, 2012 would have been my Grandfather's 100th birthday. I thought that it was fitting to submit a layout of him for this challenge. I started with a white background, but the elements were "lost" and the soft blue seemed to tie it all together. Thoughts?
I used Storybook Creator 4.0 with many free embellishments that I've collected over the last few years.

I can't believe you did this page three times! I thought I was the only one who did that trying to get it "just right".
Jody, I do like all 3 versions, but this one is my favourite. It's most suiting for a Nobel Gentleman. Very well done, and a wonderful way to celebrate a 100th Birthday. In my family we always celebrate 100th Birthdays for our passed relatives by going out for a nice dinner. None have (yet) been able to participate themselves, unfortunately.
XOXO
Great memory page one for the family album
What a nice way to memorialize your grandfather!
This is a really nice layout and a beautiful way to remember your grandfather.
Don't forget to post it in the forum too.
I think I like the blue one more, brings together all the vintage elements. Great layout! Thanks for sharing.
