I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. It dovetailed well with my career and has sparked an interest in developing skills as a graphic designer. You all are so talented; you inspire me! I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home. My get-out-of-the-house job is working part-time running exercise classes at a local weight-loss center. I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking my favorite beagle. My goal is to become better at making digital content rather than using what others have created so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers.
My daughter became a volunteer for the American Brittany Rescue Group, a non-profit organization that helps place Brittanies in forever homes. She adopted a Brittany last spring, and we did a photo session with her new dog joining the family with her and her husky. The eyes of all of them jumped out at me when I looked through the photos; hence the title. Background paper from cottagearts.net. Heart graphic copyright Creative Memories.
