I'm a retired teacher - been digital scrapping for about 7 years. I started traditional scrapping about 10 years ago, but discovered how costly it was having to replenish supplies, and when you make something it's a one time thing! Then I discovered digital scrapbooking and made the switch 100%. I love being able to reuse my materials and if I make a mistake, just erase and do it over. Now I'm getting into design and have created many of the papers and elements I use on my layouts. I design as LadyBug Designs [see link below]. I'm rather new at it so I don't have a lot in my store right now, but I'm working on it!
My other hobbies are genealogy, photography, travel, reading, cooking and gardening.
I spent a month in Africa on a mission trip. One of the highlights of the trip was a trip to Gitega where the world famous Tambourines de Burundi live. The "Burundi Drummers" performed for us and the nearby villagers all gathered to enjoy their show with us. One of my favorite photos was of those villagers and the little boys who scampered up the tree for a better view.
