About Me
By day, I'm a Web Designer/Developer and by night I play in my "all-freebie" site {and "Digital Sandbox" play area}
http://Pixelberrypie.com
I created pixelberrypie.com this year so that I could offer things like digital elements and Photoshop and Gimp Brushes freely to scrap-bookers.
Um...what else? Well, during the last 5 years, I have been recovering from 3 spine surgeries, and am regaining my mobility slowly, so the artistic distraction has been good for my soul. My training is in Graphic Design/Web Development, but I am also a painter (on canvas.) So Art, in every form, is really a HUGE part of my life.
A little more about me: I live in Dallas, Texas, am married to an incredibly loving and patient man, and have two grown sons of my own: one works in computers, the other is a Senior Art Director for Ogilvy and Mather in New York. I also have 4 grown step-children: one in med school, 2 studying nursing, and one who works in oil and gas here in Dallas (and is always COVERED in it.) I live in a tiny house my twin sister calls, "the cutest little doll house you ever saw." I am from Detroit, Michigan and am the daughter of a Park Ranger/Naturalist/Deputy Sheriff. 90% of my inspiration comes from Nature, where I find my best solace, thanks to a childhood spent camping in the forests and lakes of Upper Michigan.
I found Pixelscrapper by accident, and Marisa's generosity has made me a fan---and inspired me to offer my own freebies.

My son, Josh, loved his pound-puppy and shared his life with this stuffed animal for about 2 years. I tip-toed in to take this picture because I wanted to remember him and his "friend," for years to come. Josh is now 28, and I cherish this photo.

I just clicked on your site. It looks (from the couple of minutes I've perused) like a great source of resources. Thanks for offering freebies for commercial use!
Great layout! I really like the grungy look.
Thank you! (I must admit too that I still love stuffed animals...)
