About Me
I am a 28 years-old Brazilian, married for 5 years, and with no human kids for now, but 5 cats istead. I was a teacher, but I gave up on teaching, profession that I chose to young to know what I was doing, and I´m looking for other possibilities.
I have been scrapping and digiscrapping for a couple of years, but I still need to learn a lot. I also recently started designing for scrapbooking, which is hard, but I really like to do. I´m also in geek/nerdy culture, and I love literature!
Description
When I saw the layout proposed to it, the first thing that called me attention was that the layout was very "verticalized", although full of horizontal lines, and I tried to reproduce it. And the first thing that I deceided was that I´d like to use washi tape, a material that I never used before (not even in "real paper" scrapping).
Next, I realised that Bedouin Nights kit had almost all things that I needed... except the notebook background, which is a file that I also found here!
Work with the washi tapes and transparent paper was very hard, and I had some problems to add shadows. The result wasn´t as good as I´d like it to be, but I still liked it!
And I made the third page of my 5th kitten´s diary!
(Yeah, my living room is decorated with a HUGE vintage world map. Later I plan to make a page showing it properly 
)

Don't hate my... but I'm not really a cat person. However, you made it look really lovable. The layout is great. I have long been struggling with all the washi tape I have in my archive, not really knowing how to use it best. But now I know - Thanks :0)

Lorien - I too love shadows! I find that if I put the light source ABOVE (so the shadows below) that it has a more realistic look. But that is just my opinion...as soon as I earn enough points I can post some of my layouts (brand new as I type this) - I can't even take on this challenge!
