Our little man had a bad fever on the day of his birthday, which must have added to the 'what-is-going-on-here' feeling most one-year-olds have during their first birthday bash. Luckily, big sis was there to unwrap the toys (and play with them...)

I set myself a goal: to deliver a 'clean' layout, which is something I just can't seem to do. I tried to constrain myself in the amount of papers used. I had the four vertical strips of paper all in a different pattern at first. It really took courage to chuck them all away and replace them with one solid paper, haha!

The layout is not my idea (I wish, I think it is really creative!) but it is a template by Sarah Gleason (Hoppybirthday). The papers are all by Agnes Biro, the pattern ones are from her Carefree-minikit, the solids from the Balance mini-kit (all of which are/were freebies at DHD). The vellum heart and balloons are also from Agnes Biro's Carefree-freebie. The doodled frames are by Studio 68.
