About Me

I'd like to start off by telling you a about myself. First, I was born and raised in Western New York and have always had a strong passion for art. Where ever I was you could always find me doodling or writing. Thinking back to when I first really realized how much I loved art was my 7th birthday. My grandma bought me a crayola table top easel that had all kinds of coloring attributes to it. I loved it. It held my paper straight and my crayons in a special compartment and to me, it was the coolest damn thing I had ever seen. Later on, my father noticed my interest in art and bought me one of those all-in-one art cases. It had paints, pencils, markers, crayons, pastels... even the sharpener, eraser, and ruler. That was it. I used it until everything ran out.I was even in art club in the 3rd grade. My talents did not go unnoticed in school either. In art, at Black Rock Academy I had an art teacher, Ms. Agosto, who had two different pieces of my work displayed. One in the HSBC (now First Niagara) Tower in Downtown Buffalo, the other I think may have been sent to a hospital. She even got me a scholarship to learn at The Buffalo Art Studio. There, I was exposed to many art mediums such as pottery, sculpting, painting, and drawing to name a few. As I was getting ready to transition into 8th grade, I was introduced to building web sites by my teacher, Dr. DeWindt. I didn't know what I was doing at the time but by the end of 8th grade, I knew what I needed to know to pump out little web sites, one after another. Fan sites, HTML help sites, cliques, graphics sites, etc... All using Yahoo's Geocities. Geocities has closed down since then but I would have loved to share them with you. Graphic and Web design was my main focus throughout high school. I have recieved perfect grades in classes by using my graphics. At class day, I was even presented with the Technology Education award by The United States Air Force because of my Horticulture Teacher, Mr. Mitchell, for building a website for his class. Some years have passed since then. Since then I have become a wife of an awesome husband and mother of 2 wonderful little girls. I am also the graphic and web designer for my brother's tattoo shop web site at Wickedinkskingrafix.com (not up at the moment unfortunatley but will be back up soon).Painting has become my main focus lately, as everyone seems to be looking for unique home decor and asks me to make them something. As a mother of two with limited time on her hands, and so many passions concerning art, I decided I it was time to share my talents and passion for art with the world.
