I love to be creative with many different kinds of mediums, from the moment I was born. I love drawing, painting, sculpturing, cross stitching, sewing and much more. Photography is another passion of mine and I take this with me when I explore the richness of culture the world has to offer. Because I love to travel and made many photos along my journeys, I looked for a creative way to journal all the gained impressions and memories.
About ten years ago I started to fall in love with paper scrapping. I collected a lot of scrapbooking material and made quite a collection of pages. After a while I found myself having less and less time to spend on my hobbies and a few years ago I discovered the ease of use of digital scrapbooking. By making scrapbook pages on my computer, I can scrapbook whenever I have a spare moment, wherever I am.
I recently graduated from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and I've started my own product design agency called Studio Gekko.
Ever since I was little I’ve dreamed about one day having my own bunny. Today my boyfriend and I walked past a pet store and I saw three little bunnies behind the window. They were so cute! I just had to take a closer look inside the store. Then my boyfriend asked the saleswomen if I could hold one. I was very excited and a little bit scared, because it was the first time that I’ve ever held a bunny in my hands. But from the moment she leaned against my chest I was sold. If only I had a garden!
Even tough I'm Dutch I don't really like the color orange that much, so I hardly ever use it in my layouts. Most elements and all the papers are from Marisa's "Beatrix" kit and I always thought that the plaid patterned and carrot patterned papers were too busy to use in one of my layouts, but this time I tried to make it work.
For this layout I used the free template of June 2013 of Sahlin Studio.
