About Me
I am a 40-something scrapper/designer with residence in Copenhagen, Denmark. I must confess that I am more a designer than a scrapper, as time do not allow both, and designing is my favourite. I give away most of my designs as freebies on my blog "Nothing but Freebies", but as I have now been unemployed for about 4 years I supply my bank account by selling designs under the name Danish Design from my store with Scrap It Sassy.
I used to work in communications and as a copywriter and I try to combine that with the graphical design world now.
I joined the digital scrapping world about 4 years ago as my new computer came with a free Photoshop Elements installed, and I was hooked right there and then. Since then PSE has been my tool, but I am slowly adding new things to improve my works.
Description
This is my entry to the first Pixel Scrapper Challenge, and it's a bit different from what I usually make. I used B/W photos and used the colours as "highlights" instead. The photos are taken in Central Park and Bryant Park in New York on one of those beautiful fall Sundays that only New York can deliver.
...I'm sorry if I went a little "Brush Mad", but I do love brushes!

Great layout! I love the photos!
This is such a spectacular layout! I love the background and the silhouettes! It has a fabulous feel to it, like if you listen you can hear the jazz!
I love those silhouettes in the background. You've really captured the feeling of the park.

I really like the watercolors and the birds on the wire (all the silhouettes are great, but those are my favorite).

Nicely done ~ I really like the painterly effect.
Wow Trine, I love this! The silhouette figures are a great touch. And... you can NEVER use too many brushes ;)
