30 Days of Christmas: Day 6
I should perhaps make it a little more clear that Jordan and I, confusingly, live in the country of Jordan.
Jordan's father is an anthropologist and his family has been living in North Africa and the Middle East for 30 years. Jordan and I needed somewhere to live while we worked on this project, and so we are living here because that's where family is.
I'm planning to post a bit more about living here, after the holidays.
Today's freebie are some frames from my Versailles Kit. Enjoy!

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

Thanks for sharing your photos and story - I have never had the opportunity to visit these places, therefore, I am experiencing them vicariously through you. I love the photo of you and Jordan standing on the roof top, with the city spread out before you. An amazing photo.

How cool! I've never been there. I'd love to hear more about where you live. :) Thanks for the freebies.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful goodies!! We traveled to Jordan 5 years ago and we still talk about it today. I have a son named Jordan and he was abolutely thrilled to see his name everywhere!! I love Petra and would love to go back. My children were really young when we went there (8, 5, 1!) so we could not fully enjoy all the hikes and walks. Can't wait to see the rest of your photos!!

Jordon looks so pretty! Thanks for the frames.
Oh I loved Jordan...when I took a 2-week trip to the Middle East I assumed Egypt would by the highlight of my trip, but I fell in love with Petra and just loved camping in the desert with the Bedouin! I promised my 9-year old if she continues to get good grades that I would take her there...what kid doesn't love to explore caves!
Wow! That is interesting about living in Jordan. I would be afraid to live over there with all the stuff that goes on over in that area. You are brave! Looks like you enjoy life and have a great time of it though.
Nice pictures.
