Five Years of Pocket Scrapping

When I was uploading my most recent pocket pages from this year to the gallery I thought it might be fun to compare my first week from the five years I've been doing this to see how my style has evolved over time. I've been using the same templates for all five years (here, here and here). I've gotten a little more elaborate over the years, and started relying on the photo frames in the 3x4 spaces. Otherwise, nothing too dramatic has changed. It's fun to look back on a project like this to see not just how life has changed in five years, but also how my style has changed.

Perfect. I've been spending a lot of time looking through old photos too. So similar to look back on an old project, looking back at the kids and our Family's day-to-day adventures.

For the whopping 2 weeks since I discovered Pixelscrapper I've wondered what template you use. And there are the links! Thank you so much!

@Candee: I layout my photos every Saturday, so I do scrap chronologically. Doing digital pages means that I don't have to make the back and front match, which is nice. Although honestly I pretty much always use the same layout, so even if I did have to make things match it wouldn't be much of an issue for me. Having three 4x6 spaces and the rest 3x4 just suits the photos I seem to take and I can always make it work.

Your work is awesome!
I have a TON of the pocket pages sleeves, but don't use them. My problem is trying to plan for both sides. I'm guessing one can't really scrap chronologically because one would really, really need to plan photo sizes in order to do so.
HOW do YOU do it? Or, do you not scrap chronologically?

What fun. I haven't used anything consistently across the years but things have changed that's for certain. Especially my photos I think- I work on those more diligently now. Beautiful pages Marisa.
