Jamaica Mini Album
A few weeks ago I shared a redo of my college scrapbook, and today I'm excited to share with you a super mini album I made from old scrapbook pages of my time in Jamaica. This is a square 4x4 inch album, so it's super cute and super small. I printed out various pocket cards from DigitalScrapbook.com and then just cropped the photos I tore out of my scrapbook so they would fit. I added little tabs to make turning the pages easier. This was a very fast and easy project, but still very satisfying. I'm looking around for more old photos lying around that are in need of a little sprucing up!

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

What a wonderful mini album!
what a lovely mini album. :) Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing! I had the same idea and I think a mini album will be next Christmas present for my twin *heart*
that is the cutest album! That gives me inspiration for my collection of photos that used to hang on my fridge. As we get new christmas cards or pics from friends and family we switch them out and I have a stack of photos I don't want to hide in a box...hmmmmm.... now i just need a few good snow days to work on it!
This is just cutest..Marisa, you Always make Simple photos more attractive..I wish I could do something creative like you..but pity that I don't have such joyful photos..
@Julie: I'm the worst journaler. It find it a decently painful process, and if I have to include journaling I'm just not going to do anything. I do occasionally stick something behind, the pockets are good for making stealth journaling.
¡ Me encanta tu trabajo !
This is adorable, Marisa and a great way to cull those bulky books. I do have a question for you. I notice you don't use a lot of journaling. Is it because you add it after you post it? I can say when you get "old" you won't remember the details of those college years. (I've got some great college photos, but never recorded the names, and 30-plus years later now I don't know who they are!)
Very cute :-).
