@Ingrid: Sorry for the confusion. You didn't actually get "bumped down." What happened is that you got a fixed DC bonus when you reached the community points milestone. But that does not change the number of free DC you get every day, which will stay at 5. (This is a new system that we are moving towards: if you found something in the help, or some message on the site that confused you, or gave incorrect information, please let me know).
Alright Jordan, though if this is the new system of not increasing DC points, I really must've read the help section incorrectly when I signed on. From what I read in that section you first get DC's from filling out your profile. Now the next section as I read it is @ 10 community points =more DC's, 30 community points = more DC's and so on. I also noted that community points are not the same as DC credits, though under the help section again the first point made is the more community points you have the more free DC's you get. I'm not arguing, I just want to point out that if this is a new system perhaps you might want to change that help section...lol I know I wouldn't be scratching my head

In the section More About Download Credits, the heading Free DC Per Day should probably be changed to say something like One-Time Bonus Credits--and why not tell us how many credits we get at each level? Is it the same number as the Community Points, or a different number?

Hi Denise: no there is no time limit on the free credits.
Sorry that you had download issues with that border. Because you have made a donation, you should be able to re-download that item at no "charge": just return to the item page, and try downloading it again.

I am wondering how and when do we receive our bonus DC point due to CP targets that get met? I might be mistaken but when I reached the CP70 it didn't seem to give me any bonus DC points? But I wasn't keeping a close eye on it so might definitely be mistaken, I just want to know so I can keep an eye open for my next CP target? O and the bonus DC points do they also expire in 24hours?

@Friena: looking over your history, it looks like you received 10 bonus credits on 2/19 for hitting 70 DC, and then 20 more bonus dc a little later for hitting 150. We'll try to make those notices a bit more obvious in the future

While I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth, I believe there may be a problem with the download bonus at 70 points because I didn't get one either. I'm still new at figuring out the DC's, but I've been stuck at 8 for the last couple of days or so. I log in everyday - so unless I use them they continue to add up, correct? I'm assuming so, because I've seen a few kits I'd love to get but they're like 30+ DC's!

@LisaMarie, Marisa and Jordan are on a trip so I will try to help you out regarding DC's. This is probably the most confusing part of Pixelscrapper. Your DC's do not accumulate from day to day, you will need to use what you earn each day. Because kits "cost" so much you cannot "purchase" a whole kit at a time. You would need to pick up each of the assets until you had all the pieces of the kit. There are ways to get the whole kit at one time. You can find out more info regarding DC's here. At Pixelscrapper you can purchase DC's, they come in different increments with extra DC's for purchasing the $20 plan. You can find information on this here. I know early on I purchased several of these. Another alternative to purchasing DC's is to actually purchase a "subscription" plan which allows you unlimited downloads for a monthly amount depending on whether you are interested in PU or CU products...it is a great deal. You can find information on this here.
Pixelscrapper is a wonderful community and I am sure you will enjoy participating here. Depending on what your budget allows I am sure you will be able to get whatever you want even though sometimes it might take a bit of time.

The next day, you will still receive your free daily DC, and your account will be topped off to 60 DC. You can keep your bonus credits as long as you like, and spend them whenever you want, and you will still get your free DC every day!
I have been sitting at 33 now for quiet some time, I received some Dc for posting in the community and the gallery. But I have not received any daily points for 2 weeks now. I am down to 26 at the moment and will be donating because there is a kit I want.

My assumption (yeah, I know, I know lol) was that as long as you logged in daily, the DC points would continue to add. I will probably become a donor soon as there are a ton of things I'd like to get.

I think it's like 12 or 15 since you have 719 CP but I'm not positive since I have an unlimited account as a supporter. I will let you know ASAP.
Yesterday, while I was in the midst of downloading my daily 5 credits, my account was adjusted to reflect that I gained an additional 10 download credits for community points earned. I believe a glitch occurred and somehow was only able to download 14 credits instead of 15. I performed a thorough search on my PC a few times to see if that last one may have downloaded somewhere else other than my desktop preference. Unfortunately, I cannot account for that missing item. Since you usually give only 7 days to re-download, I want to be sure I still have that option within the time frame established. Regardless, I carefully select what I'm going to download on that day and believe that this missing credit was perhaps inadvertently deducted from my account before getting an opportunity to use it. Either way, please advise. Thank you

Our records indicate that you received 20 bonus download credits for passing 150 community points on June 25th, however, there was a glitch which caused you not to receive your reward at 70 community points, so I've given you a bonus of 15 download credits right now. You will receive another bonus when you pass 300 community points.

Same with Freina, I did not receive bonus DC when I reached 70 CP. My DC has not gone over 5 since receiving my bonus for 30 CP.
