Weekly Challenge - 2012 Wrap Up - Deadline Jan 3

This week's challenge is to scrap 2012. Reminisce about whatever you'd like that happened during the year; take some time to remember the good moments (or the not so good moments).

Tough challenge for me! I have problems using TWO pics, and now TWELVE???? On the other hand, I couldn't decide for just ONE photo, or even six, so this is what I did smiley :

Oooooh...I'm looking forward to this one! Just have to decide WHICH layout and WHICH pictures!
Are we limited to one layout? I think I'd like to try one or two (or maybe three) different ones!

Here's my layout!

You can find it here in my gallery!

Gee - This is a real challenge for me! So much is happening in 2012 - It will actually be cool to capture it all in some organized way.......A mug of Hot Chocolate should make this easier to think about.........

My layout:

I figured I will probably remember the 'big' moments anyway (especially since they have all been scrapped seperately), so I chose to collect all those 'simple' pleasures of 2012. I made a spread with all (well, most of...) my favourite everyday moments of 2012. I chose hexagons, because they were amongst the big 2012 scrap trends. You can find it in the gallery here.

I had a lot of fun with this challenge, because it made me remember all the wonderful moments of this past year.
You can see my layout here.

Melouise, I love your hexagon layout...it reminds me of a chemical/science type chart, very cool!
Sharon, your layout is really neat too...I especially like how the little circles come off of the bigger circles.

Here is mine...first scrapping challenge I have ever participated in. Can't wait to do some more! I had fun looking back at the year and where my hoops have taken me.
I didn't work with any templates or digi scrapping materials for that matter. I just created a loose grid and used a few brushes for embellishments. You can't see it very well, but the background picture is a whole bunch of hula hoops bungeed together sticking over the backseat in the car that we took a 16 hour drive to North Carolina for...so those hoops were above my head the whole trip! I think it was a total of 18 hula hoops in the car with us smiley
Happy new year all!

Everyone's layouts look fabulous so far!!! Great Job Ladies! Good Luck! smiley
@Melouise: I really love that octagon layout... so many photos, yet so clean & crisp looking!

Marisa, who won the challenge this week? It is finished isn't it? Just curious...!

Thanks Melouise for keeping me up these deadlines! Especially since you were the winner! Congrats! I've given everyone else community points. Thanks for participating!
