I'm feeling a little sick right now. I just opened up Picasa (where I organize all my photos) and only the most recent pictures are there. This is after I just spent hours and hours organizing them all, collecting them from two different computers and a couple hard drives to get them all in one place. Good news is they should all be backed up. I'm just procrastinating going to look in case they're not or all those hours of hard work is gone.

Kimberly I do wish you luck. It is always best to have a couple of backups of your pictures. These cannot be replaced. This is one thing that I share with family members. I know that there are many copies out there.
I hope that you found them by now! I would be sick too!
Just reading this makes me sad. I don't know what I would do if this happened to me. Best of luck to you. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
You mean Picasa Web albuns, or Picasa the program? I imagine you´re talking about the web albums. Never heard about anything like that happening, it´s so sad
Hope you can come up with a solution, and maybe ask Google what happened...
I found them! Woosh!! It was Picasa the program and while I did have backups, I didn't want to go through the hassle I'd just spent days straightening out.
But all is well. I've gone through every picture file, found all pictures on two external hard drives and my computer and organized them all together. They are now stored on one hard drive and backed up on the other. That was definitely an eye opener for making sure I keep them backed up regularly.
