what are you THANKFUL for?

i know we're a few days away to start the month of November, and for me this month is to thank God for all i have and don't have in life, i always thank God for all the blessings he puts on my life and for helping me through difficult times, and of course i'm thankful for having 3 healthy kids, a real, loyal & supportive man by my side & the best dad my kids could have, a roof over my head, and true friends that are always there when i need them.. i may not have much but i'm thankful for what i have.
and you? what are you Thankful for..? let us know!! smiley

I love doing the 30 Days of Gratitude in November. smiley

I am thankful that I still have my grandma, and that she gets to enjoy her great great grandson when she visits several times a month. I'm thankful for a great husband and so thankful that he overcame prostate cancer. I am also lucky to have a great daughter. And her son, my grandson, is the absolute light of my life. He makes me laugh every day. I'm so lucky to get to be able to stay home and take care of him during the day and help my daughter out so she doesn't have to worry about having him in daycare with her crazy work schedule. I'm thankful that my nephew, who has Autism, is finally getting help and is learning a lot of new things.

I'm thankful for a 30+ year friendship (since we were in 4th grade). And it is really wonderful because we both got little beach getaways near each other so when we retire, we can hang out together. smiley

I'm incredibly thankful that I've been able to complete my education. And I've been able to sneak some amazing travel in along the way. We don't live a fancy life or have expensive things, but we've made some creative decisions and were able to do some things we've wanted to do.

I'm thankful my Sweetie and I have reconnected and are now back together for three years. We are more alike than we ever thought when we met 31 yrs ago (OMG!) when he was sitting in his tree in the yard and I was walking down the block with my cousin. We were thirteen. smiley I'm grateful to get to share my creativity with others. I'm grateful I am making some progress in my health and I am finally learning to honor my limitations and boundaries. I'm grateful you asked this question, Samantha! I practice gratitude in my life, but being prompted to reflect some more is always a good thing. smiley

There is a lot to be thankful for! I'm thankful for my grandbaby! He'll be a year old on Nov. 15th and he's absolutely amazing - like grandbabies are supposed to be! He has learned to say Gamma : )

I'm also thankful that my brother in law is recovering from a horrible incident that happened earlier this year. He's a 62 year old quadraplegic and has limited use of his arms. One of his arms was broken at the hospital early on this year and he hasn't been in his wheelchair since. He's slowly recovering but is weak from being bed bound for so long. His doctors are saying he is in good shape though, and that he should be able to be up and about again around Christmas time! And I am super thankful for that!

I am thankful to still be here! And thankful I get to see summer again because its on the doorstep now smiley

When this year started, I didn´t had any real working perspectives. I knew that I´d like to stay at home if possible, but wasn´t sure on what to do. This year, my craft business finally took off, after I twisted some perspectives and started working with two other fantastic crafters. And also I discovered that I like to design - I used to think it was too boring - and that it can be a way to earn some extra money and my designing business can run together with my craft business - I´m very grateful for be able to do something that gives me money (although still to little for what we really need) and happiness at same time.

I am thankful that I know I will wake up every morning and not have to dodge bombs, bullets, soldiers or looters. I know I will eat each day and it will be a great variety of good food. I will be able to vote at the next election and be able to speak out about injustices. I can sleep at night in a good bed and be warm in the winter. I live in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada which means we have people of all nations here and it's been my privilege to know many of them and love them. I know that I am generally safe each and every day and loved. I think that is so much more than most people in this world have these days.

Freedom, wisdom, my family, and my job.

Love, life, family and friends.

Thank You Everyone For Sharing What Are You Thankful For!! smiley

I am so thankful for this group, and all the things I am going to learn from you all. It is really exciting.
Of course I am thankful to Jesus for saving my soul. He is so wonderful to me.

Thankful for the love and health of my family and our pets!

My children!

my family, my husband - especially, and my health.

Thankful for life in general! So grateful those I love who I have been blessed with.

I'm thankful for every day the Lord gives me to try to improve myself and come closer to him.

My family, my friends, my health, and my creativity.

I am thankful for my husband, children, and grandchildren. I am also thankful for my health.

Right now, I'm thankful for hearing from my son this morning. It's pretty sporadic when he's deployed.
