Here's this week's free font from Creative Market... it's only available this week so make sure you head over and pick it up...

Hi so I just bought a graphics thing to make postage stamps and included was a list of the free fonts the designer used to make the postage marks so I thought since all the fonts used are free I'd give you the links... I think they're all on dafont... I'm not sure of the TOUs for the individual fonts so check each TOU just to be sure... (the images are linked)

Hello I've got some more free fonts...

I really like this first one and I'm not sure why, but I think it rocks...lol.

This next one is actually an alpha and is only available for free during the week of April 20 to April 26, 2015... it'd be good for those layouts when someone broke a bone or had to get x-rays....

As a non-recovering fontaholic, I REALLY appreciate all these links so I can support my habit! Good job, scrappers!

@Kalan... lmao... too funny... I guess I'm also a non -recovering fontaholic...lol. I never heard of that before that's great...lol.

In that vein... I have free fonts to share.... images are linked.... I think they're PU and CU but always double check the TOU to be certain.

This next one is only available until the end of Sunday May 3rd... sorry for the short notice... hopefully everyone interested will see this in time...

Thanks for sharing!!

These are great! Does anyone know of a font that looks like the high school varsity letters?

Julie - I think Varsity might work.

Sorry for no image - I have no clue how to do that (& absolutely no time right now to look up the instructions - sorry!).

Edited by Moderator (Sera) 2015-06-22: I added the image for you since getting images off of that site is a little bit complicated (for me anyway smiley ).

thank you. I will figure it out. smiley

Julie - the link goes right to the download page, I just couldn't figure out how to post a picture so you could look before you clicked the link. Let me know if this font will work (I adore fonts & have SO many I have a folder on my hard drive of fonts I haven't installed because I installed so many I slowed photoshop down!).

@ Sarah Palmer... I added the image to your original post for the Varsity font...

@ Everyone else... Creative Market has a free font available this week only (freebie will no longer be free after Sunday night, June 28th) (image is linked) and I think it's CU.

@Sera - thank you so much for adding the image of Varsity (because I sure couldn't figure it out!). I really appreciate it!

Sarah, no problem, my pleasure... it actually took a little more finagling than it used to on that site so I'm happy I could help.

Now for more fonts.... I've got some Free Movie Title Inspired Fonts... I'm sure they will come in handy if you want to do a scrapbook layout about a kid (or an adult) you care about who is crazy for any one of these movies... or you could just use them because they look cool...lol.

I got more movie fonts... From Disney Movies this time... I'm sure a lot of you saw the post on Gingerscraps' blog that linked to another site that had a list of Disney fonts... unfortunately that second site requires you to join and although there is a free option I know a lot of folks don't like doing that sort of thing so I did a bit of a google search and found another site that seems to have all the same fonts but without the need to join anything.... so here's that site

http://www.thatsvandy.com/2012/08/33-awesome-and-free-disney-fonts/

I'm pretty sure these are all personal use because of copyrights but I know a lot of you do Disney Layouts for your trips and such so that's why I'm posting this link... happy scrapping!

@Sera - I don't do Disney (other than watching a lot of the older animated movies with my 7yo niece, we're particularly fond of the original 101 Dalmations smiley ) but I still love a lot of these fonts. Thanks for posting!!

@Sarah... I don't really do disney either except when watching my friend's little girl but I love them too!

To that end I don't recall what I was actually looking for when I found this list of Disney fonts (but it wasn't Disney fonts...lol.) but this list has some the other list doesn't have... FYI some of the links are dead due to copyright but most of the links are good... there are a couple where you input the words you want and it creates an image for you which is pretty cool.

@Sera - wow, that second link you posted has lots more fabulous links! I just grabbed the Jungle Book & The Incredibles fonts but there's more at both links that look like fun (& a lot I'll never use but enjoy looking at - my motto: fonts, you can never have too many).

And LOL at you finding this when looking for something else (& forgetting what you were looking for)! The internet is a rabbit hole to end all rabbit holes (or maybe I should say a rabbit hole leading to a MASSIVE warren). I've had this happen to me more times than I can count - & oftentimes the thing I end up finding is much more interesting &/or useful than whatever it was I was looking for!

True confessions - I really didn't mean to download any fonts today as I have 100s...but I did - 16 more, to be exact *hangs head in shame*. All those pretty Disney-but-usable-for-other-things fonts needed a new home, I could just tell. smiley

Sera, your post reminded me of this super cute Disney dingbat I have installed on my computer. The picture is a little small but it's a fun font.

Sarah, haha, I totally relate! I have a preposterous number of fonts but I don't want to stop acquiring more!

@Leisel - Fonts are indeed my weakness. My font collection is SO large that I have a folder on an external drive with all the ones I *haven't* installed yet, carefully filed in folders according to how I'd use them or what they are (script, san serif, handwriting, hand printing, decorative, etc).

I used to just install them all but Photoshop started loading reeeeally sloooooowly thanks to initializing all those fonts so I turned off or uninstalled a number of them. smiley Then I had the bright idea of organizing everything into folders on the external drive so I can find them & can install & uninstall as I want them. Some have ended up being permanent residents but others only come out when I need them. And this way, I can keep downloading to my heart's content without bogging everything down. smiley

PS Thanks for the Mickey dingbats!
