Sorry
Back to challenge ideas....
Since the holidays are approaching, we could have a recipe challenge. Of course, it would have to be a layout made with scraps.
It would be fun to see (and try) foods from all over the country.
@Marissa: LOL Sorry m'lady... I didn't mean to hijack your thread - seriously! But this is the Challenges forum & I was curious! I don't often participate in challenges, as I feel my skills are lacking, but if it's something I think I could possibly do I'd love to!
@Tina: Do you mean a challenge with actual recipes? (big foodie & love trying new stuff)
Yes, instead of using photos, we would use a recipe (with a photo if you have one). I have a good collection of them now from doing recipe (layout) challenges. I guess it wasn't really a challenge as much as it was sharing but seeing how they all look in the end is great. We had an online recipe book at the end of it all. It was fun.

Fabulous idea! I know just which recipe I would scrap, too! I once saw a huge piece of art in a kitchen magazine - photographed hand-written recipe - and by huge I mean over six feet tall. LOVED the piece, and would like to do something like that for a gift.
Sorry

I like this idea, Shawna! Once this thread takes off, it will be challenging for posters to keep track of the suggestions...

We're working on the polls. Once we get those up, we'll for sure have a voting system.
I was thinking it would be fun to do a challenge based on the scrapbook kits put together for the December Blog Train.
@Janet: I was just reading that... Marisa already put up a blogtrain-challenge here:

Dang, she's way too fast!!
I'm like a ninja...

I x10 for Marisa being like a ninja, LOL!
To stick on facts, the themes for weekly challenges are so far so good and the prizes are generous! Keep up the good work Marisa
Call me crazy, but did I miss the Versailles kit challenge? I must have.
@Janet: I think there might not have been one, that was before I came up with my new kit challenge system and I didn't want to overwhelm the forum...
