In my layout, there is...
~ 3 layered papers in the background with varied opacities - dots, stripes, and checks
~ 1 paper behind the photo/frame
~ 1 March Word Art
~ 1 Alpha that spells 2010
~ 10 distinct elements including 2 layered messy borders, 2 different types of shamrocks, 1 striped frame, 1 set of rainbow arrows, 1 rainbow, 1 shamrock flair, 1 heart stamp (below the March Word Art), and 1 paint flower stamp in the upper right hand corner.

Yes, it seems that you CAN use photos. Look...the last ingredient states "# of photos - you choose". Hence, you can use photos! smiley Yay! Happy Scrappin'!
