Please use this thread for any comments, questions, thanks, etc you have for our designers participating in the blog train. To see the blog train list, visit this post.

Please remember that the blog train does not go live until October 1, so the actual freebie on the blog may not yet be posted.

Everything looks great, ladies! I especially love:

  • Marisa's pocket cards
  • Erin's cork paper and cork elements
  • Jessica's charcoal-gray paper with the white flowers
  • Sunny's papers, journal cards and the word art tag with the gingham bow
  • Tina's journal cards, and
  • Bren's creased papers

Looking forward to seeing everyone else's creations!

@Cassie: The blog trains are open to everyone, regardless of skill level. Even if you just make some solid or tonal papers your first time out, or apply some layer styles to a font to make an alpha, it still adds to the train and makes the total collection even more fabulous. Check out the Designer Challenges forum as well--it's a good place to get some practice and build your skills, especially the always-open designer challenges like brads, hearts, stars, frames, etc. The ladies here are fantastic; most of us remember how intimidating it was to start designing, and will help out with answering any questions. The Freebies forum can let you see how some of the designers and members here have grown over the years, too.

And, really, that goes for anyone interested, not just Cassie--we love seeing new faces over there and watching your skills and style grow and blossom!

I personally LOVE designing; it's so much fun! And the only thing as exciting as designing yourself is seeing how other people progress with their designs. DigitalScrapbook.com really is the best place to learn how to design -- not only are there wonderful templates provided FREE by the talented professional designers here, plus all the tutorials --but there is also an incredibly helpful community who will help you out with any problems you may have. So, I'll add my encouragement to Holly's: Please, try designing for yourself; start slow by using templates; and just PLAY with your software! (I have a feeling you'll LOVE it!)

Girls your are awesome, Thanks for taking time every month to share your art with us.
