Welcome Tuzyae! There are a lot of folks who do non-scrapbook projects on here. There is even a gallery now for your non digital projects like planner, cards, ect. And you will find a great community here! I've been around for about 3 years now and I love it here! Hope to see you around the forums! smiley

Thanks for the welcome! I'm really happy to have found this site! I forgot to add among my projects, I also do a bit of digital work which is why I'm really looking forward into delving into the tutorials to improve my skills. As a side hobby, I put together educational printables for toddler through kindergarten and I've gotten quite a few of those packs under my belt and posted on teacherspayteachers. I'm also developing a line of paper products with the intention of having a combination of physical and digital options available. Rather eclectic, but there are so many possibilities! smiley

Hi! I'm a new member - I live outside Washington, DC with my new husband (just got married June 3 smiley ) in a small apartment. I got interested in digital scrapbooking because we don't have much space for all my crafty interests (my dream is to one day have a craft room of my own!) so for now, digital scrapbooking is great because it only takes my laptop. smiley

For my day job I work with numbers so crafty things and memory keeping are my creative outlet. My mom created lots of beautiful albums for me as a child (using Creative Memories supplies) so I've been inspired by her in scrapbooking.

Looking forward to getting involved more!

Hello My name is Julienne. I love many crafts and have lots of time to do them as I am disabled. This site is so smart and I can't wait to really get into it.

Welcome, everybody! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and introduce yourselves!

Hi! I'm Teri, and I'm new here. I've been scrapbooking since I graduated from university, but always in paper format. I used to run a scrap blog and be on the design team for a local store, but life got in the way and my crafting time became too limited. I've just started digital scrapbooking in the last couple of weeks, and I am loving it so far. I live in Canada with my husband of two years, our dog and our cat. I haven't uploaded any of my pages yet, but I may...if I get up the nerve! I am so inspired by the work I see here, and I appreciate the inspiration you all provide! smiley Happy Scrapping!

Hi, I'm LaDonna! I am from Ohio and have lived here my entire life. I am a very proud mother of a wonderful 22 year old son who is in college pursuing a masters degree. Also, I am an avid dog lover and a "Mommy" to 2 beautiful Shih-tzu fur-babies, Murphy and Jazzy. I come from a long line of military veterans and retired from the VAMC so, I have a special place in my heart for veterans. I was married to the Healthcare Industry at a very young age. We divorced in 2006. My first love was writing. The love of my life is art. My soulmate is graphic design. Yet, I tend to flirt alot with photography among numerous affairs with digital scrapbooking.

I have no formal training and all of my experience has been self taught. I have always been passionate about anything/everything involving art, creativity, and expression from writing to photography and scrapbooking. I enjoy Photoshop Elements. I'm not an expert. Not a beginner. I'm somewhere in between and continually learning something new. I use other programs as well as they all have different attributes that I like for different projects. I use Craft Artist 2 Pro as well as Affinity Designer. I am committed to eventually mastering Photoshop Illustrator. I've also done hybrid scrapbooking and used Cricut but have trended more toward digital design. It's a whole lot less clutter (lol)!

I came across DigitalScrapbook.com in my constant search for unique commercial use Photoshop tools such as actions, layer styles, and templates. I thought I would give it a try and I loved it! I was most impressed with the interactions of all the different designer levels and the willingness to teach, share, and learn. I was happy to see the variation in designer styles and so impressed with the quality of work! The community itself is friendly and interactive creating such a welcoming environment. I'm a bit quiet and shy but have decided that I would love to participate and hopefully contribute something positive to the community and learn along the way. Hence, I've started the application process to join the Commons. I've passed my quiz after a couple of bumbles (lol). Now, onto earning enough points which is going to require coming out of my shell a bit which is a good thing smiley With all this being said, HELLO, DIGITALSCRAPBOOK.COM COMMUNITY smiley

Welcome! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi all!
I've been scrapbooking (paper) since I was in high school which is forever ago, teehee! I've since jumped on the digital band wagon since 2008 and love it. I still need the touch and feel of paper so I create handmade cards and treasure the compliments I receive when I give them.

I live on a ranch in rural New Mexico with my husband and many animals. I love the peace and quiet of my ONE neighbor 5 miles a way! Creation around me is where I get my inspiration for my cards and pages.

I look forward to being more involved with DigitalScrapbook.com Community!

Welcome Denise! Thanks for saying hello!

Hello,

I live in the United States, Indiana specifically. I have been digitally scrapbooking since the birth of our first child in 2009. I love how this craft of any sort (paper, digital or hybrid) gives our memories permanent documentation. Most pictures can tell their own story but I enjoy journaling on most pages to share our thoughts and feelings at the time. I also create the majority of greeting cards we send.
I discovered your site just last night by way of promotion on the Digital Scrapper website. Can't wait to look around here!

Kind regards,
Julie

Welcome Enzo!

Hello I am Cindy, I live in the NW corner of Georgia. I am trying to get my scrapbooking in order and at least semi caught up. I have been sidetracked with other things the last couple of years. I am caregiver for my mom. One weekend a month my sister comes to stay with her so I can have some time with my hubby. Hubby works away from home and only comes home for weekends. I used to go with him so I really miss him. Most of my pages are photos we have taken on our weekend. We love to camp and hike. Have just started backpacking but waiting for cooler weather to do our next backpack weekend. Thinking of doing sections of the AT in Georgia. We have so much we want to do and time seems to fly by now that we are getting older. NOT FAIR, but thats the way it is.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Cassie and as a military spouse, I'm from everywhere and nowhere at once! smiley My husband and I are both originally from WI and are currently living in the desert southwest. I stumbled across digiscrapping about 4 years ago while looking for printable to try out Project Life. I had been a paper scrapper however I never seemed to get around to doing it. Digital, however, is something I do every day of my life, and I don't have to clean up after myself when I'm done either! smiley I'm fortunate to CT for some awesome designers and I love the sense of community there is in the digi scrap world!

I'm not sure how I came across pixelscrapper but I've been popping in and out for years but hadn't really realized just how much went on behind the scenes here, as far as challenges, tutorials, etc so here I am saying hi and hoping to learn and participate a little more! smiley Thanks for having me!

Welcome Cassie! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi! I'm Jackie and I live in Virginia. I'm a photographer and grandmother of 3. I recently discovered DigitalScrapbook.com and found it has a lot to offer in graphics. Scrapbooking has been a hobby for about 10 years, and I really enjoy making mini books. Let the fun begin!

Hi Everyone! My name is Anyang and I'm from the Philippines. I love papers, documenting memories and telling stories. I am a certified planner addict (one Happy Planner yeah!) and a paper scrapper.

I am so happy to be part of this awesome community. Looking forward to learn and participate more smiley

Welcome Jackie!

Hi Everyone,

I'm Christina and I live in South Carolina with my husband of 17 years and our six cats. I teach botany at a local university, and I just started getting into digital scrapbooking a couple months ago. I had learned Photoshop Elements for editing figures and graphs at work, so some of what I know transferred really well to scrapbooking -- but there are so many more techniques that I am still learning. I am even dipping my toe into the water of the full Photoshop CC: last week I learned how to put drop shadows on a separate layer and manipulate them - what a game changer that was smiley

Since we don't have kids, most of my scrapping involves pictures of our everyday life together, my cats and their antics, and of course various trips around the US and abroad. Lately I have been working on making a nature album of plants on campus, which I hope to share with my students as a sort of local botanical field guide.

I can see how much work the DigitalScrapbook.com team puts into this wonderful site - thank you! I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome Jackie!

Hi! I am new here. I love this website. I am French and a musician. I love doing cards for kids because my girlfriend is a teacher. I often design cards for her students and make art classes with them.

Welcome Vinny! Glad to have you here.

Hi I'm Michelle and I just found my way to PixelScrapper a couple of weeks ago. For a long time I have been making pages to share pictures, mostly of my children with my parents and my husband's parents. I used to work as a network administrator and computer science teacher at a large high school and discovered Photoshop there but have used all kinds of software over the years to make layouts of various types. I stopped for about 10 years and just this year re-discovered digital scrap booking using Photoshop Elements. Two years ago my husband and I moved from our home in Saskatchewan Canada to Fiji in the South Pacific. Since coming here I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the region and into Asia and of course, take hundreds of photos to capture the memories of those places and events.

Hi! Im Amy from sunny suburban 'why would you want to live anywhere else unless you already live here' Ventura, CA. Just turned 28 the other day! Yipee... Mother of two, caregiver of one mother in law with dementia, and happily in love with my husband for geez almost 6 years. Im unapologetically obsessed with calligraphy and most all typography in general, journaling, pretty pretty paper, anything antique , vintage, grungy, or rusty, skulls, bats, spiders, they're webs, and anything floral and boho chic ;D i know... Im all over the place! Im a big fan of the so called 'gothic scrapbooking/journaling' (although i wish our community would come up with a better name as im by no means a goth!) i have always been a traditional scrapbooker 2nd generation, and also had my nose turned at the digital stuff until litteraly yesterday i realized i am a Proud hybrid scrapper! Who is about to learn the s**t out of some photoshop so i can create my own cards and labels and stickers etc. out of pure frustration of theyre being zero scrapbooking kits keen to my interests ( interests being similar to the brands affliction, sinful, and metal mulisha) that arent labeled 'halloween' ha ha. So here i am at your invaluable resource of a website, perusing my way through a wonderland of options! smiley thankyou for making my vision a possibility!!

Hello. I'm Michelle and call Palmer, Alaska home. We live 40 miles northeast of Anchorage in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. I am another woman with not enough hours in the day! I am a working wife and mother, who has too much housework to keep up on and not enough time to be as creative as I would like. I'm on the computer for 8 to 10 hours during my workday, so my darling husband thinks I'm crazy to digital scrapbook. HA! He doesn't have the bug. However, he's the first to get the albums out and show off all our adventures to anyone who will listen. We have two beautiful adult daughters who don't practice my art routinely, but are right there asking for assistance when it comes to hybrid gifts to give away. Some day...

I started scrapbooking after my second daughter was born in 1994, and bought everything Creative Memories had in their home-based business catalog. With the explosion of the world-wide web, my digital world went into overdrive and I became a hoarder of digital kits, templates, and fonts. Today, I'm more focused on where I purchase these items, especially freebies. I've learned to be much more picky about what I download and what I use in my layouts. I've progressed from traditional pages to my version of "controlled" artsy pages. My first download from DigitalScrapbook.com was back in January 2014. It was of a layered Date Template by Janet Scott. I haven't looked back. I find lots of inspiration here - the gallery is full of scrap-lift-worthy layouts that make my memories that much more memorable because I have documented my photos and stories with good design theory using great kits.
