Layout Challenge - Scrap a Feeling - Aug 2017

I'm always a sucker for a good random challenge, and I have a new one for you today! Head to this random word generator site and choose "emotion" as the category. Also, limit the output to one. Once you click the green button you'll be given an emotion word. Now use that word to find a photo or make a layout inspired by that emotion.

The Details

  1. Challenge ends when August does.
  2. You may enter as many layouts as you'd like for more chances to win.
  3. You must tag your layouts with these two tags: feelings aug 2017, aug 2017 layout challenge
  4. See entered layouts here.
  5. See updated rules here.

The first word generated was 'obsession', here is a page about someone with an obsession smiley

The emotion that came up for me was 'wornout'...I could think nothing better than my mother's hands...
My mom's hands...wrinkled, care-worn, veined & worn out...a testament to the years of love, care & consideration she had showered on us, my father, brother, sister & I...she put us before herself, no matter what...now her hands are gnarled and worn out with years of work...but these are the hands that I am what I am today...

Lovely ladies! Thanks for sharing.

HAHA!! I got Dopey!! I'll be back...

Soooo...I was very excited to upload my "relieved" layout here - the first on in a long time - and for whatever reason my jpg is too big! Is this a common occurrence? It certainly never happened when uploading LOs here before. Is there anything I can do to amend it without changing my whole LO? Help! smiley

@Susannah: It depends on where you're copying the image from. But you can always enter in your own dimensions when adding the URL. I usually do 600x600

Thanks Marisa, for taking the time to respond to what is no doubt a beginner's question. I will play around with things a bit and get it figured out for next time, if not this one. A later note...the problem begins when trying to upload to the gallery, where only 10MB is allowed. As I can't get it uploaded there, I have no URL to adjust. If there is a tutorial about this (although I am using GIMP) I'd be grateful for that link.

Hello Susannah smiley this might help you.
