Hi I'm Meryl
I live in sunny South Africa & am wife to the best husband in the world, mum to two lovely daughters and gran to 6 wonderful grandchildren.
I have been digital scrapping for about 16 years, and designing for about 10. My digital scrapping started (back in the day!!) when i wanted to document our elder daughters wedding. I am now kept very bust with 2 families photos and our own love of travel. Look foward to getting to know you all smiley

Hi Meryl! Glad you're here! Thanks for introducing yourself. I currently share an apartment with a guy from South Africa - it's been fun to learn a bit more about the culture and everything. Makes me want to visit!

Hi Everyone! I hope I am doing this right...I am almost 64 years young. I love to digital scrapbook and have been doing it for myself and family as fun ways to make cards and memory pages probably for about 15 years in some form or another. I look at my early on pages and think wow how 'simple'. I use a little bit of this and a little bit of that and can never afford to buy sets so am so thankful for the GIFTS of those that design and build my supply of details via each person's generousity! I love to follow the blog trains. Everyone is so talented!! So on this Thanksgiving Day (USA although I live in Japan) I am thankful to this group, for a way to earn points even beyond the membership which I have, and find such wonderful treasures to make memories for others that they truly enjoy!

Hi! I'm Sheila....I live in a cottage on a farm on the Long Mynd in Shropshire, UK - And I got into digital crafting by default really - I had a stroke when I was 43, (I'm now 62), and I began crafting with paper to save sanity....Previously I'd crafted with yarn and such like - Then when I moved to a village, a neighbour gave me her daughters old PC....(I'd always been of the view if I turned ON a PC, I'd turn the whole of Shropshire OFF!.....I was SO scared of the computer age!) - Of course, NOW there's no stopping me!....I moved to this very rural hillside farm almost 5 years ago, and love the isolation and wildness!.....Like several folks, I 'fell across' this site by accident, but LOVE it!...Especially trying out different designs and designers in the blog trains - But it's just an exciting world...FULL of variety, and ever changing!

Welcome Mauve, Rhonda, Meryl, Vicki and Leah! So happy to have you all join this forum! Look forward to seeing you around! I hope you find it as warm and inviting a community as I always have!

Hello everyone! I'm Christina, I'm Greek and I live in France. I found about digital scrabooking very recently by chance while searching ideas for my next vacation photo album and I think it's exactly what suits me! I love travelling, take photos and decorating them around the house in a creative way. Digital scrabooking is so complementary to what I have being doing till now and digitalscrapbook.com is a huge source of beautiful graphics allowing me to try out this art. Thank you very much Marisa for creating it and keeping it running!!!

Welcome, Christina! We're so glad you've found DigitalScrapbook.com and are liking what you see!

Hello!
I'm a sporadic and spastic crafter - lots of projects going, and lurking in the wip basket. I'm a mum of 2 twolegs and 3 fourlegs. New to the site, but it's already one I visit regularly. I teach a Wednesday night class for first grade girls at my church and get many ideas for decorating my room from here.

Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself, Crabby! Welcome to the community!

Hi everyone, I'm Marie, and I just joined DigitalScrapbook.com a few days ago. I'm recovering from surgery and decided to advance my digital skills as a way of passing the time - I am usually very busy, as I sew and machine embroider.

I live in North East England, and I've been married for 10 years. We have no children but recently adopted a Bengal cat.

I like spooky things, steampunk, and heritage/ vintage things.

Hi Marie! Welcome to DigitalScrapbook.com! I love England - I've had the privilege of visiting a couple of times, and then ended up even studying there for a few months. smiley

We hope you have a speedy recovery from your surgery!

Hi! I'm Donna McCord and I live in east Texas. I am a 57, empty-nesting Mom of 2 great young adults, wife and former home-schooler who loves to travel and putter in creative things. I run a home-based travel agency, and when that doesn't keep me busy, I get to play with my horses and/or indulge my creative side. I found DigitalScrapbook.com this past year, and I was amazed at the generosity of this community. I have learned so much about the possibilities of digital scrapping from this site! I had no idea that this medium even existed in a form that a computer-limited baby boomer could use and enjoy. So, "Thank You" to Marisa and all the lovely people who share their creations here. I LOVE playing with your toys!

Hello, Crabby, Marie, and Donna! Nice to meet you all!

Welcome!

¡Hola! I'm Yanina. I live in Woodbridge, VA with my two boys (10 and 14) and husband of 29 years. I enjoy digital scrapbooking, but this is my second year back to work after staying home with the boys and I don't have much time anymore to scrapbook. Thank you for letting me be here.

Welcome, Yanina! Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself!

Hi y'all!

My name is Julie, and came across your site from a friend of mine who loves to come here for her scrapping needs. I'm 43 years old, happily married for almost 15 years to my best friend and greatest guy out there, and proud SAHM to a handsome young man (named William) who is autistic and all full of energy.

I've only been recently creating layouts, but have been a digital scrap designer for 8 years now. I sell in a few stores, and love what I do. I put a piece of me into every kit I design. It's therapy for me, so my designs flow with the mood that I'm in at the time I'm creating it. I'm hoping to be able to share my designs with you, and offer a few freebies along the way from kits I create.

I'm looking forward to getting to know others here who are of the same passion and mind when it comes to digital scrapbooking. I'm always looking for a new opportunity to make new friendships with others.

Thank you for reading a little bit about me. Now off to surf the forum and gallery!

Brightest blessings...
Julie / Whispy's D'zines

Welcome to DigitalScrapbook.com, Julie! We're so glad you're here! smiley

Hello! I'm Karen and I am brand-spanking-new to digital scrapbooking. I have been doing the paper version for about 20 years and have been making planner printables digitally for a short time. When I found this site, I thought I'd give digital scrapbooking a try and whoa! I'm hooked! I'm such a beginner in the digital realm and this site has already provided so much to help me shorten the learning curve. I am Mama to two really fun, creative, so-intelligent-they-keep-me-hopping-to-supply-new-learning-avenues kiddos. I'm married to a loving, understanding man who has never ONCE said, "Honey, do you REALLY need all that art stuff?" I'm so blessed. I'm thrilled to have found DigitalScrapbook.com (totally by accident) and want to extend my thanks to Marisa, Jordan and all of the designers who provide so much inspiration and material.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, Thani!

Hi, I'm Rebecca and have been admiring you all from afar for a while now. I was an avid scrapbooker for many years, but only took the plunge to digital last year after a 10 year scrapbooking haitus. Getting so far behind felt overwhelming, plus I get side-tracked by other creative ventures and helping out in animal rescue by fostering or being the volunteer graphic designer...which makes it ironic that I didn't jump into digital scrapbooking from the start. I completed my first digital scrapbook last summer and finally feel like it is possible to get back on track! I love the ease of it, being able to manipulate more without commiting and creating my own elements for my pages.
I live in the desert in southern California which does provide a lot of nice weather but I'm just as happy to be playing on the computer. I have 2 'foster failure' dogs and one cat smiley My boyfriend has also blessed me with his family and I'm loving being a 'bonus' grandma to his two grandsons, which has greatly increased my photo-taking opportunities! Thank you all in the community for your generosity and friendliness!

Hi. I am Gina. I have been digi scrapping for many years but only stumbled into DigitalScrapbook.com a few days ago. I had no idea you even existed. smiley

I started scrapping for friends and family when Paint Shop Pro 7 was new (in 2000) but did not venture into the scrapping community for several more years.

By trade, I am a nurse. I was employed in the medical field for 25+ years but burned out and thus retired.

Now, I am a professional hobbyist - choosing to do what I find to be fun. If I am doing what is fun and someone pays me, I am happy. If I am doing what is fun and no one pays me, I am still happy because I am doing what is fun.

I am passionate about digital graphics, always aspiring to create something and to improve upon the last thing I created.

If you want to know something about me, ask.

Gina
