@Lorien, So sad! If you like any of those, let me know. I can recommend more! Fun Fact: Of Monsters & Men is a band from Iceland.

For me when it comes to music I am all over the place when I am scrap booking. Just depends on my mood. Lately since I am a mother of 3 boys I have been just listening to the peace and quiet in my house while I am doing it.

I'm another that watches TV while crafting rather than listen to music.

I tend to watch movies or TV show marathons while I'm scrapbooking; however, I LOVE Damien Rice and have been listening to my youtube playlist of him all week at work. My favorite new song though comes from The Airborne Toxic Event. Their new album is out on the 30th and I have tickets to see them live in June. Positively cannot wait!!!!

Loving your musical tastes Phillippa!!! Totally love Mumford & Sons and Of Monsters & Men.

I'm listening to a live news feed about the Boston bombers, I'm hoping they find the second guy soon.

I'm obsessed with my Stone Temple Pilot channel on Pandora. It's pretty much all 90s alternative, all the time. My iTunes is a lot more varied. Everything from 80's pop to current day rap, most genres are represented. As long as SOMETHING is playing, I'm happy.

Arguing children! LOL!

Grimes - Oblivion, hooked on this song this week smiley

I am very eclectic when it comes to music genres. I love so many different types of music. My favorites are heavy metal and acoustic. Lately I have been listening to In This Moment, Atreyu, The Material, The Civil Wars, VersaEmerge, Alesana, The Pretty Reckless, Plumb, Halestorm, and The Murder of My Sweet. There are lots more, but that is what I can think of just off the top of my head. =P

Noise sensitivity is one of the symptoms of my chronic illness. It creates a sensory overload, like your electric circuit at home can be overloaded. smiley same thing happens to my brain:-) I love music, always have, loved to sing too, but after I got ill everything changed. When I'm able to listen to music I love to have my collection of acappela music on. I find it amazing that people make music without instruments. I especially love our University of Oregon male acappela group On The Rocks. They're a fun group off guys, very entertaining. The perform every Friday afternoon and even video tape it, not only do they have great voices but also great dance moves. smiley I financially supported the group so they would be able to record a new CD which was released last month.
2 years ago a YouTube video of the group went viral when they did a cover their version of Lady GaGa's Bad Romance.
Here is the entertaining video, almost 9 million views I see! Months later they participated in the TV show 'The Sing-off'.

I'll throw my hat in the mix...country right here.. my husband's radio station the hoss, but every once and awhile, I trend back to my teenage angst years of listening to rock Offspring, Pearl Jam, Metallic, or what I refer to as angry chic music like Evanesance, or Paramore, or Flyleaf. I'm a mixed bag, what can I say!

hi classic rock n roll also classic country. smiley

OMG I have been so addicted to Lana Del Ray. Been playing it nonstop for last couple weeks.

Just heard this great song. You can get it for free if you sign up for their newsletter.

I will definitely check out Need to Breathe, tomorrow ( just off to bed!!) I like to have praise/worship music on when I'm on my own. My husband likes Northern Soul all the time. I love the Disney soundtracks - just watched Sister Act today, love that music!, I love Garth Brooks, Mamma Mia and music with a good beat - 70s, 80s the list goes on!

I listen to a lot of different music. My favorite artists are Snow Patrol, The Airborne Toxic Event (I'm finally going to get to see them live in mid-June; I cannot wait!!!), Damien Rice, Joshua Radin, Mumford and Sons, and Katie Trotta. However, I love making "mixed tapes" of random songs I just love. My two latest faves are these crazy cool renditions of some of my old favorite songs:

Happy Together by Filter
I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by Sleeping At Last

Then there are these Christians songs I just can't get enough of:

Dead Man (Carry Me) by Jars of Clay
Hello, My Name Is by Matthew West

I've been listening to 30 Seconds To Mars' album 'This is War' on a loop all week long... I can't bring myself to change the album, there's just something about it that moves me at this point in my life so I've been listening to it pretty much non stop since last Friday!

Wreck-it Ralph! LOL!

I've been listening to a lot of stuff that's on the radio and a lot of country. My top 5 right now would probably be anything by Macklemore, Come and Get It by Selena Gomez, Treasure by Bruno Mars, Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, Next to Me by Emeli Sande.

@Sarah brownie points for having the new 30 Seconds to Mars album on repeat! smiley

currently? Black Veil Brides blaring from my daughters bedroom. Not exactly my cup of tea but better than some of her other choices. If I flip on my list it's... embarrassing...Glee LOL

I am so glad I'm not the only one who loves and listens to Glee!

Oh no, I'm a total Gleek. My kids(19 and 17) make fun of me.. a lot!

One of my best friends is totally addicted to Glee too. When she´s sad, Glee can make her smile smiley

I love to sing and I too love Glee....at least for the singing...some of the storylines are turning me off to the show though. They aren't even doing the reality "try-out" show this year because I believe that I read it had not yet been picked up for next season. That was a couple of weeks ago though so maybe that has changed.

Well, you've probably figured out by now I have very eclectic tastes & am all over the map when it comes to music (much like a lot of you are regarding art & scrapping styles)... Right now I just put on a cd called "just relax mexico" by Lifescapes... Soothing instrumental music... Reminds me of my stay in Cancun years ago...

I'm also a total Glee fan. I just love the music. It's true that sometimes the plot lines are a bit crazy, as well as the characters, but I just can't seem to resist it!

@Janet: According to Wikipedia it's been renewed for 2 more seasons.

Thanks Marisa, didn't take the time to look it up myself! I am glad but I wish they could get some of the plot line under control!

Haha. What would a "normal" Glee look like??

I probably laughed at the "What would a 'normal' Glee look like??" quote way too hard hahaha. As much as I love Glee, I'm scared to see what the next 2 seasons will hold!
