Nov 2018 CU Blog Train - Final List

This month's theme is HOLIDAY CHEER.

Share an image and a link to download your creation for this blog train.

Our commercial-use blog train uses a standardized palette for consistency. The image with hex codes is available HERE and those of you who use Photoshop or PSE can download an ACO file HERE.

Please use this logo on your preview.

For each month's train, you will create 1-3 items; these must be released with a commercial use license. You can make papers, overlays, elements, or templates. Your contribution may be posted on your blog, or the download can be linked in the list thread posted each month if you don't have a blog. In either case, they should be available for a minimum of a month from the time you post it here.

Thanks to all. Wonderful treats. I am, however, getting an error msg from Box for Crafty Moose’s lovely template papers. Help?

Rose, I've just re-downloaded it. you must click the BLUE download button beneath the line "We're sorry, the preview didn't load. ZIP files are not currently supported."

Sorry, still error msg “Sorry, we could not find that page.” The download button under the preview statement is black, not blue. I deleted the app, and reloaded again, set up a new account, still getting the same error page and then it keeps asking me to log in again. I really like those paper templates but at this point I am frustrated. Guess I will have to pass on this lovely gift. ?

Oh, that's too bad. Maybe you can pm Brenda and tell her about your failure to download the papers?

never could get this to download, it said for about 10 minutes that the download was in progress, would love to pick them up though.

Hi Rose,

I got your email but I figured it would be best to try to help you here in the forum in case anyone else is having the same problem.

I just tested the download link 4 times and had no problem downloading the file (I tried twice each time being logged in to my Box account and not being logged in).

The download button should definitely be showing as blue and not black. If it's showing as black for you then I'm thinking something on your computer is blocking the link button from being enabled. Try disabling your antivirus and/or adblock and/or firewall programs, refresh the page, and try the download button again to see if that does the trick.

It could also be your web browser (ie: Firefox or Internet Explorer). Try checking the settings in your browser, especially your security settings to see if you have your security/blocking set too high.

Also note: You don't need to have an account with Box (or need to be logged in) to download the file. So try logging out, closing the window, coming back here to the forum and clicking on the download link again.

If none of the above suggestions work for you, then I'm at a loss as to what the problem might be for you (I'm not much of a whiz when it comes to this computer stuff). The only thing I know for sure is that the problem is at your end with your computer and not the actual link/file itself.

Fingers crossed, I hope one of my suggestions resolves your problem!

Tks Brenda.....At first I thought it was because I didn’t have a Box account so I set one up. Family arriving for the long Thanksgiving weekend, so I will try later on my laptop and then our desktop. Have been on my iPad these past few days and I do have more security set up on it because it “travels” ☺️ with me whenever I leave the house. TY
