PS Challenge - Boo! Kit - Deadline Nov 30

EDIT: Thanks to everyone for sharing layouts! I've given you all your participation community points.

Congrats to Shelly for winning the random drawing.

Don't forget to check out all the layouts here and leave everyone some love!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All the assets are almost up for my Boo! Kit, and I thought it would be fun to see what you guys are making with it. You have a month to play around with things and be sure to post your best layout in this thread.

The Challenge
You must use some assets from the Boo! Kit. You may use other things as well. I don't have a specific ratio for you to follow, use your best judgement about what you think is fair.

I have a special little freebie for people who take part in this challenge. It's a collection of Halloween labels.

The Details

Due Date: November 30, 2012

Tag: "challenge boo kit nov 30"
Make sure you use this tag exactly, so we can browse easily through the gallery and see all the submissions.

See basic challenge rules here.

Check out finished and entered layouts here.

Another challenge Yay!

Woohoo, can't wait to start this one!

Thanks for the freebie! Looking forward to this challenge. Love your Boo! Kit.

TYSM for the freebie

This is great - deadline November 30! Yay, and I am going with my niece and grand niece and nephew to the Harvest Festival. Will be participating in this one!

I have my layout all done, just waiting for permission to post in the gallery. So excited! Thanks.

Here is my layout for the Boo! kit challenge. I missed the last one so I didn't want to miss this one too! Got it done early smiley
See it in the gallery here

@Kristen: You should have access to the gallery now. I believe several days back Jordan and Marisa notified us that they had opened the gallery to everyone in the forums now. If you don't have access, will you please post here in the support forum so Jordan will see it quicker and fix yours.

Here is a tutorial on How to Post Your Layout to the gallery, full step by step, pictures included tutorial.

Here is a tutorial on How to Tag Your Layout too... So everyone can see your submission to the challenge.

Here is a tutorial on Posting Images in the Forums, So everyone can see your layout here in this post
Hope this helps! Let us know if you need anything else. smiley

@ Shawna, thank you, I did get access after filling out the form so I'm good there.

I uploaded to the gallery HERE.

And now comes the magic moment when we see if I did all that right! One, two, three.....submit....

Well, it's a little big, but I'm not going to complain. It worked! Thanks, Marisa, for the great kit and the fun challenge.

Kristen, I think you must have copied the url to the full size image and not the thumbnail that's displayed. I changed it for you. Let me know what browser you're using, because I think some other people have had this problem and I'll see if I can make things more clear.

Also, you can always manually set the dimensions of the photo when you paste the url in the image box here, you can also type in dimensions, something like 500x500 would be fine.

The black papers of the Boo kit reminded me of the ladybug-outfit my little girl dressed up in. I love the doily too (but I think I am in love with every doily...). Maybe I'll do another one with this kit... So far, I did this one:

Here is my submission for the boo kit challenge. We thought it would be funny to dress the baby as Batman instead of Robin. Here's the link.

Have tagged my submission smiley

I almost forget to post here!

Here is the link
And here is my layout

Question...do we have to post the layout in the forum too or just tag it?

Good question @Caryn, I had forgotten myself. I put mine in the gallery but forgot to post a reply in the gallery. Here's the full the scoop:

To participate you should:

Upload your layout to the DigitalScrapbook.com gallery. To get access, sign up here.

Post a reply in the forums to the challenge you are entering, linking to your submitted layout.

Right click on the image of your layout and choose "copy image URL." Paste this link into the image button on your forum post.

Don't forget to include the link to your layout too, so people can it. This is your entered layout for the challenge (see here for helpful screenshots).

Be sure to check out the other submissions and leave comments...

here is mine.....link here

I finally found some time to also make a layout for this challenge. It ended up becoming a double layout. You can find it here.

Here is mine:

Wow...such gorgeous entries! Here's my submission.
