Using alphas in PSE

I apologize if this has been asked before, I did a search through the first several pages and didn't see anything.

I've heard there's a way to do some kind of action for alphabet sets in Photoshop Elements that allows you to treat it like a font, instead of manipulating all of the individual letter files to make layout titles and such. Is this true, and where would I find something like that/how would I use it? I'm really clueless when it comes to using styles and brushes and things like that, so any help is appreciated!

I haven't heard of anything like this Becky.

Rachel - not quite. I thought I remembered reading something recently about some kind of plugin that basically just allows you to type and it'll use an alpha set instead of a font. But then, I haven't gotten a full night's sleep in something like a year. smiley That action does look interesting, though!

WOW!!!!

That's it, Marcia!! Thank you!

That looks a great action but please take note of the programs it is for as I own CS6 and I doubt it will work for me as it states CC and also it says PSE18 so anything before that version it possibly will not work.

Let me know how it works. It might get me over my laziness in using alphas!

You can contact the owner and a sample will be supplied to see if it will work. CS6 and CC are very close and were considered to be the same at one time. The only difference was that CS6 was a personal copy installed on the computer. CC was the online version.
