Hmmm, my first post disappeared...

RAW RAW RAW

When I learned about RAW, there was no turning back! It has saved me so many times when I forgot to change eexposure or set WB! There is no way to go back now! The files ARE huge, but I work around it. After the photos are edited, I burn all the NEF files to DVDs for storage, along with a copy of the edited files. I keep a copy on my laptop for several months, for making layouts, timelines, cards, for web, etc. Then I move the edited files to an EHD. I ALWAYS keep a miimum of two copies on different media. I learned the hard way years ago, and BACKUP is my mantra!
