So that means, it should ship out soon. YAY!!! I've been saving my pennies for a really long time to buy one of these babies. What is a Zing you ask? Well, its like a Cricut, but only 1000 times better and on steroids. It will cut true 12x12 and all sorts of media - including aluminum from soda/beer cans, chipboard, balsa wood. I have been putting away a little bit here and there for about 2 years now and finally had enough saved up to order one last month. I can't wait until it gets here. I have an old Craft Robo that does about the same thing, but its dieing and won't cut properly anymore after 7 years. It didn't cut heavy materials or 12x12, but I've always been able to work around that. If it didn't stop cutting properly, I would probably use it until it burnt up and fell apart into little pieces. I still may be able to get it working again - I'll take it apart and mess with the step motor and clean it to see its a mechanical problem. It may even be that the motherboard or the usb connector is messed up too.
Anyway! I'm excited. 
you will absolutely love your zing. I have had mine for about a year now.. I have a craft robo, cricut, Klik N Kut XL, Craftwell ECraft, and now my zing... Out of all of them I love my zing the best. Electronic Cutting machines have come a long way in the past several years! The only reason I stopped using my KNK XL is because the cable that you need to use with Windows 7 kept dying on me and instead of replacing the cable so often I decided to upgrade. I am giving my XL to my son to use with an XP machine. Any how you are going to love it..

I'm like a kid before Christmas. I just got the email today that my Zing was shipped. It will be here next week. I can hardly wait. I have a week to re-org my craft room. I wonder if hubby will help me move my desk & book cases around - probably not...

I'm really bad... I've had it 2 weeks now and haven't had a chance to cut anything with it. I've been so busy trying to get my website up and running I haven't had a chance to move things around to make space on my desk for it. Hubby is off this week so he's going to help me with my desk and computer so I can get it hooked up.
