Deanne: The tech term is Creative Cloud Tutorials, university is not the official name...
Sorz I guess I call it that because it is referred to as such. Do try this tho with their free trial. Adobe is the original everything else is not.

Apps that do not support layers do not really let you scrapbook or layout. There are several people that do memory keeping with word for example but it is wordprocessing with pictures, not layouting really, which is perfectly fine if that is what you are after.

Another very good tut line absolutely geared toward scrapbooking is the one by Linda Sattgast. Costs 97 ( just checked) and is worth ten times as much easily counting the time saving effects and all. I ran into a hard copy on DVD (on gumtree I believe) of her when I was still in school... and she is also with Adobe professionally. Here is a link to her free tuts. I am not affiliated with her or any of her businesses. Linda is very thorough and extremely detailed and takes ALL the time in her videos to really not leave anyone behind.

And last but absolutely not least DIGITALSCRAPBOOK.COM. The tut section here is a mine of information, and defs on the speedier side of the red barn.

Watch out for sales days as 4th of July, sub to their nl's to stay in the know. smiley

Deana,

Watching YouTube tutorials on digital scrapbooking, helped me learn Photoshop more. Then I started watching photo editing videos, which brought me to finding these guys...

I hardly ever edit my photos, btw, but they helped me understand what all the PS buttons were for.

I started out (in 2004) using a photo editing software that came with my digital camera. It involved me copying the same image and editing those "layers". Essentially, it was like taking the Paint program on your computer, copy/paste your image 5-6 times and erasing something off each one.
