It's back! Everyone's favorite time of year is here...layout madness!
This July join the DigitalScrapbook.com community in making ALL THE LAYOUTS. You're in charge of setting your own goal number of layouts. We'll help out by posting lots of prompts and encouragement throughout the month. So easy! So fun!
- Leave your goal number of layouts in the comments below . Don't worry if you're joining late! We're glad to have you.
- Please tag any layout you're counting towards your goal with "slm 2020".
- Please share your layout in the prompt thread that it completes. (If you didn't use a prompt, we'll have a special place for those layouts too.) (How to Share Layouts in the Forums)
- When you post a layout to a thread, please also let us know your goal rate (as in 3/21, if it's your third layout for the challenge and your goal is 21).
- Have fun! The first prompts will be posted when July begins, and continue throughout the month. Feel free to repeat prompts if you like them, or to do your own thing and ignore them completely.

Yay! I've actually been delaying working on my more recent pages so I'd have more material to work with for this.
I'm going to aim for 20.
My goal is 50.

10 new kits (new to PS or new to me - still trying to use my collection - 10 favorites - 10 outside kits (total 30!)
OK I'm going to aim for 12 layouts - thats about 3 per week - should be OK to do!!

I've already set a goal to scrap one page a day through all of July. They may not follow the prompts, but I'll post in the "special place" if they don't.
I usually power through tons of layouts during Layout Madness, but we're moving at the end of July, so a lot of Life taking over this month. I'm going to aim for 4.
I think I will do 15
Since we might be on vacation for a couple of weeks, I'll say 25.

I've not joined in this before so this year I'm going to aim for 20!
Aiming for 20. My son and wife are moving the second week and we are going out to California to help him, so no scrapping that week. But I’ll have some good pictures when I get back.
There is a lot of unexpected going on here right now but I need to get back in gear, I will try for 8.
I'm very new at scrap booking, but up for a challenge. I will start low as I have other things that I also do. I'm going for 5 just to see how I do.

I have not been very active on PS for more than a year...I think...life got in the way...personal issues ....work...except for infrequent visits and favouriting items, I have not uploaded any LOs for quite some time...hope to remedy that during this vacation...let's see...hope to upload at least one LO per day...all best wishes to everyone!
My goal is 20.
Will there also be other monthly challenges? And if so, will those layouts count towards this number for Layout Madness? Or do they have to be different layouts? I hope this makes sense.
Linda - these challenges will be mostly similar to what we already do - some will be new - and there will be a lot more of them - to get us through the whole month. The last madness challenge we did (winter in February) there were 24 challenges in total. You can go back and check the layout challenges section for WLM threads called February 2020 LC.
I dont know if we will get DC points or not. That is something that Marisa will have to decide.
Thanks, Robyn. But my question is if there's a challenge for Roses, for example. If I create a layout for that [Roses] challenge, does that layout count toward the total number of layouts I said I would make for Summer Layout Madness? Or do I create a layout for "Roses" and a different layout for "Summer Layout Madness?"
@ Linda - All the layouts in July actually count for SLM. There are no other challenges during this month. The usual challenges are replaced by SLM challenges.

Been ridiculously busy. I've been rebuilding our offline school blog, meal /recipe site, ect as we had a server crash a few weeks back. I thought these were backed up but apparently not. Then also we have been getting a lot of work done on the house during the weekends. So no rest for the weary and not much time for the eager scrapper.
I have several kits I bought so I really have been itching to play with them! Guess we will see. 
I'm going to aim for 5! I won't have much time in July as I'll be moving countries for my uni course *happy dance*
July is a crazy month for me, so I will say 10...
