Digital Scrapbook Pocket Pages: May 2020

Today I'm sharing my digital scrapbook pocket pages from May of this year. No matter how many of these pocket spreads I make, I don't seem to get tired of it. It does help to have new digital scrapbooking designs to choose from, or old kits I've forgotten about, to keep things interesting.

For this spread I used an awesome new kit from Rachel, the Leah Gabrielle Digital Scrapbook Kit. I've actually used this kit a few times on other layouts, so it's clearly a new favorite. It seems like an unusual color combination to me, but I'm a sucker for anything that includes black and white. Also, I have an ongoing obsession with purple, so it's like this kit was made for me.

This week we actually traveled, from Mexico to Oregon, so I used some of the travel digital scrapbook papers and elements from the Good Life: April 2020 Travel Bundle to complete the layout. It's rare for me to include actual themed stuff like this on a spread, but I figured since I made it I should use it. And since we were actually going somewhere, it was a rare opportunity.

I've been making an effort to actually use the digital scrapbook designs I've been making on my spreads. So these layouts use another of my Good Life bundles, this one is the July 2020 digital kit.

I didn't realize what a good job I had been doing of using my own designs. This digital pocket spread uses my first July Good Life Bundle . I do like using the Good Life bundles on my spreads because I have specially designed them with myself and my pocket scrapping habits in mind. So I usually include all my favorite digital elements (flowers, scatters, paint) and digital papers (small patterns, black and white) in these kits.

As always with these pocket pages, I use this digital pocket page template and this digital pocket card which you can easily edit in your own software (I use Photoshop) with the date and week number. All the kits I used for these layouts this month came from right here at DigitalScrapbook.com.
