GIMP: Has anyone figured out how to do realistic stitching?

I've learned how to do a straight stitch along line,, etc...but I've not figured out how to make the stitch turn with curves etc. The stitched just stay in the original direction instead of rotates.

I haven't had any luck, but I'd love to hear if someone does!

I've uninstalled GIMP since I wasn't using it anymore, but... If there is the option for your stitch to follow the direction of your mouse or pen(tablet) then you could make realistic stitching. Just google for a photoshop tutorial and you'll find lots - that's how I learned how to do it. smiley

This is something I have wanted to do as well!

Thanks Cat.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish my biggest project, a logo, this week, so that I can tinker around and figure out were that options hidden in GIMP's newest version. When I do I'll post results and info, ladies.
