Hi I am Debbie, currently living In Canada. Been designing for 5 years and loving every minute! It is so nice to see so many peeps out here.. Great site!!

Hi!
Name is Mary and Im a stay at home mom to a 2 1/2 year old boy.
I love to cook, bake, read, and craft. I just started knitting and and teaching myself to crochet!
I haven't started to do digital scrap booking, but I do use the scrap book papers as back grounds for other projects.
For example I recently used a chalk board paper from here and made holiday subway art in Photoshop. I had the image printed out in revers and I transferred the image onto a piece of wood! Simple, easy and cost maybe $4 to make.

Welcome everyone! Thanks so much for saying hello!

Hi there! I'm Erin, 30, Mom of 3 great kiddos. I literally fell into this incredible site by accident! I was working on some simple printable type things for my nephew's birthday party and needed some stripes and dots, and did not want to create them from scratch. Tada...There was pixelscrapper. I've been playing with Fonto and Over on my iphone, and inkspace on my PC for a while, but NEVER knew about Digital Scrapbooking. Anyway, about 4 hours after finding digitalscrapbook.coms, I have created an entire airport birthday theme! I'm a genius to everyone! Thank you! I can't wait to dive in to these tutorials!

Hi - I'm Artha and i'm newbie. i like the design in pixelscrapper.

I think I already did this, if so, I apologize for the repeat, but want to make sure that I'm here!
My name is Pamela Bachmayer. I live in Central Texas with my DH Harlan. We live on a farm/ranch, mostly ranch. FIL owns a cotton gin and every year, we all work there making sure our farmers get their cotton ginned in a timely manner. The hours are long and there are no days off until we are finished. There are always a couple of farmers who are a month or so late, usually due to weather, so we let the crew go and all of us, even those of us who work in the office, will work in the gin, getting those last couple of hundred bales done and on their way to market. We just finished doing precisely that yesterday. It was cold and wet and I nearly froze to death so I'm extremely glad to be back home working on my computer, and catching up on everything I missed while we were ginning.
I am a mom of 3, all of whom are grown up and 2 of whom have given me 4 beautiful grandchildren between them. They live within an hour away, but the traffic is so horrible between us, we still don't get together as often was we like and often meet half way for lunch and shopping.
I started designing when they were all small. I designed needlework projects for magazine and book publications and yarn manufacturers. I loved designing but after 10 years, having to write all those tedious needlework instructions for each project was draining the passion out of it all for me.
When I remarried in 1999, I discovered dolls and began designing dolls. I loved it. There was so much versatility and opportunities to explore new techniques, etc and NOT A SINGLE INSTRUCTIONAL sheet had to be written. Loved it. I won numerous awards, both domestic and international and sold my dolls around the world. I was particularly popular in Japan.Because I loved to explore new techniques and often invested a lot of time developing ways to accomplish what I had in my head so that I could get it onto my dolls, I was told that I was very innovative in our industry. Many techniques still used are those that I developed first and taught others how to do. I was thrilled when a friend who designed for toy manufacturers said "These aren't dolls, these are art".

Last fall, I had an accident with my right hand. Unfortunately, my left hand was already disabled from an accident when my oldest was just a baby. Without full use of my right hand, I could no longer do the intricate work required to design and complete dolls. Since all of my dolls were one of a kind, my career was effectively over.
Very depressing. A whole studio set up, a doll half way sculpted sitting on my work table, and still sitting there. Sigh.

A few months ago, I started using my pazzles machine for scrapbooking and home improvement projects. I struggle with scissors so the pazzles became my friend when I had to cut something out. When searching for new techniques to use on the internet, I discovered digital scrapbooking. Okay..now I was in heaven. I still struggled with glueing things together and making a mess instead of the nice neat work I was used to doing. Digital scrapbooking took me to a place that I didn't have to struggle so much to design or create. I have got typing down again, but even a year later, the fine motor skills in that hand have not returned.

I have devoted the last few months learning how to scrap digitally, and then to design for digital scrapbook kits. I'm getting some put together and working on my blog/website, but it's been slow when I had to take some time off to work at the gin. I'm ready to work now and get my kits out there for sale.

I have Sooooo appreciated this site. The tutorials have been a god send, and being able to download templates when I want them is awesome. I was pretty quick to realize what an invaluable tool this site would be for me and immediately paid for my commercial membership. I hope now that I have some time to devote to this, I'll be able to be more active on the site. I'm participating in the Dec blog and participated in a designer challenge last month. I won't be able to participate in everything, but I'll be participating more often once my website it finished.

Thanks for ready my mini book I just wrote. I've already made many friends in the digi world and hope to make many more.

My name is Sonnet and I live in a tiny little community way out in Bush Alaska. No stores or paved roads, but we do have internet! As a mama to 8 kids, I have tons to scrapbook but not a lot of time or space to do it. I am transitioning from paper to digital scrapbooking and I love it so far! Sites like this keep me excited to try new products and to get some more of those memories preserved.

Welcome everyone! So glad to have you here!

Hi everyone! I'm Alison and I live in Atlanta. I used to be a paper scrapbooker but I took a break (was too busy) after our daughter was born in 2008. So when I got pregnant last January, I decided to catch up on all the scrapbooking I had missed and to do it digitally. So I am pretty new to this and I'm learning slowly. Love this site!

Hi there! I stumbled across this site while searching for a tutorial. I found it!! I am so excited to find this place, everyone is so nice and helpful.

I've been into digital scrapping for about 7 years now and it's so much better (to me) than paper scrapping. I hated the mess and put off scrapping because of it. I hope to be able to share some of my pages here and also maybe a freebie or two along the way.

Thank you Marisa, I think I've found a second home here!

Hello, My name is Mary and I love crafting of any kind. I only began digital designs a little over a year ago and I fell in love! I am still learning and was so excited when I found digitalscrapbook.com sometime back, I had downloaded a few( well a lot) of the wonderful templates and that helped get me started. Then the site changed and I hadn't joined until just a few days ago. I know I'm going to learn so much from such an inspiring group of designers and digital scrappers. I live in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, and am the momma of 4 wonderful children. I have been married to my high school sweetie for 27 years. I love my life and find so much joy and inspiration from the beauty God created. Thanks for letting me be a part of the group and thanks so much for all your generosity.

Hi. My name is Heather and I've been paper scrapping for 10 1/2 years. I am a beginner with digital scrapping, but I love how I can still create what I did with paper with my digital designs. It's a little overwhelming, but I'm slowly learning.

I have 2 great kids, a dog, a cat, and most of all a husband who supports my love of scrapping. I grew up in The Black Hills, but I now live in the Twin Cities.

I am really loving the templates and tutorials! Thank you for all of your hard work.

Hi everyone! My name is Daphne, 19 years old and I live in Holland. I'm a student graphic design. I really like the study and making designs. I use this website for background images and more for my designs.

Hi all
I am a UK based photographer, near Birmingham, I have not looked through all the replies on here. But think I can safely say that as a male of the species I am definitely in the minority on here on this site smiley I do hope all you ladies won't hold this against me.
I have recently started to appreciate the value of scrapbooking as a means of providing my clients with something that little bit different in the work I create for them. There are some great resources on this site for me to help me with my designs and I have also recently (yesterday) purchased a few kits from other sources to get me started on what I hope will become an enjoyable and fulfilling aspect of my business. I find I really enjoy making unique pieces for my clients from the wide variety of elements here and elsewhere.
As soon as I have accrued enough points here I will upload a few of my pieces for all to see. I am particularly interested at the moment in producing framed memorial prints for keepsakes and for use at funerals and services, and am always on the lookout for graphics that will be usable for this kind of thing.

Chris

Evening all,

My name is Debbie and I live in Cheshire, UK with my lovely fiance... I began crafting many years ago after a friend introduced me to it, I started out buying pre made toppers, papers etc from the shop but soon became bored as I found the selections very limited!! I did a little digging around and stumbled across the digital world and decided to give it a go... I have been hooked ever since smiley

Although I am predominately a card maker I have recently discovered overlays and addicted to making 12x12 papers of which I hope to share some with you in the freebies section.

I now run my own little store selling digital craft items and love every minute of it!

Hugs
Debbie

Hi everyone,

I'm Jennifer from Canada. I have two little girls, and I'm completely obsessed with creating patterns and digital papers. I use them mainly for my altered art, jewelry and mixed media art. Thank you for creating such a fantastic resource. I've been collecting all of the lovely textures.

Hi - I'm Karry and I live in Montana. I have done traditional scrapbooks for some time and have only recently started scrapping digitally. I initially joined Pixelscrapper for the papers because I thought there were so many nice collections. I would print them out and use them in my own layouts or in mini-albums that I like to make. I've been using Photoshop for awhile but mainly just for photo editing. I have learned so much from the tutorials on this site and that is actually what started me scrapping digitally...so, THANKS PIXELSCRAPPER. I have a 1 1/2 year old boy and it seems now I am scrapping more things since I can do it on the computer which is great for our family in the long run. To me doing layouts with children couldn't be any more fun! I LOVE IT!

Welcome everyone!
This is so exciting to see all the new faces from not just all over North America, but all over the world!
We hope you enjoy all DigitalScrapbook.com has to offer.
Please let us know if you have any questions about anything, all that participate in this site are so very helpful and friendly.

So many new faces! So glad to have all of you here! Thanks for saying hello!

Hi! My name is Tina and I live in the (Central) Missouri Ozarks...a small town called Warsaw. Our area is best known for the Harry S. Truman Dam and Reservoir and we used to have Celebrity Turkey Shoots! I have been crafting and scrapbooking for a few years now. All of the people on this site are so talented! I love that you all allow us to share in your creativity! Thank you all!

Hello, my name is Christine and I live in Wisconsin, US, with my finance Darryl and our two kitties Sam and Sofie. I took up digital scrapbooking after learning Photoshop while attending college as an adult. I graduated in 2001 and found a great job as a graphic designer for my hometown newspaper.

Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Chiari Malformation later that year. After having three surgeries on my brain and spinal cord to try and reduce my symptoms, I was left disabled and use the limited time I am able to spend on my computer mainly to digital scrapbook. It's what helps keep me distracted from my pain and other symptoms, and also help keep my focus on whats important in life, like recording those special moments with your family and friends.

I love the generous, sharing spirit of this community and am so happy to be able to participate in it. Nice to meet you all. smiley

Welcome Tamara and Tina! Glad to have you here!

Hi I'm Jeanet. I've scrapped for some years now - only digital even though once in a while I get a urge to try out hybrid but I've never acted on that urge - yet. I live in Denmark with my hubby and dog. I used to be a designer but found that I didn't work well under pressure while keeping up with my day job so now I just enjoy making freebies - and lots of layouts.

Welcome Jeanet!!! I've loved your creations since DSP. Your layouts and your kits are always so gorgeously done!!! Nice to see you here! smiley

Hello! My name is Jennifer and I am an educator in Texas. I have taught for the past 10 years and am currently taking time off to pursue my dreams as a consultant and curriculum designer. I currently work from home and travel around the United States (so far) to train teachers on interactive learning.

Between working from home, keeping up my blog and traveling I do stay quite busy. I have been on and off DigitalScrapbook.com for a few years and never really settled in until some fellow teachers brought it up to me a few weeks ago.

Thank you for an amazing place.
