About Me
Mom. Geek. Designer. Daydreamer.
Hello, I am just starting with digital scrapbooking, I have a lot of projects in my head but still feel insecure on the execution stage. I have been gathering resources that go from freebies to ideas to complex tutorials. The stages encompassing my projects are:
- organize digital pictures (10% complete)
- UPDATE->scan my grandmother's pictures (95% complete)
- scan my parents' pictures (100% complete)
- scan our pictures before digital camera (100% complete)
- gather resources for Disney Scrapbook (is this stage ever complete?:D )
- finish my Family Tree (95% complete)
- finish genealogy research (~50% complete)
- gather resources for Heritage Scrapbook (each branch of my family tree will be color coded, so lots more resources to gather)
- design the pages, all 12"x12", using PSD/Tiff templates (1% complete)
- UPDATE->for a few of the scrapbooks I am going to print at Photobook Canada I am going with landscape sized layouts because coupons ;) I am adapting a few 12x12 layouts into 8.5x11 as well as converting some of the Photobook Canada's software to PSD/Tiff designs, which is lots of work but also fun to do :)
- UPDATE->print Scrapbooks at Photobook Canada or Mixbook (3% complete)
Thanks for reading,
cheers!

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
This is a gift I made for my mom for this year's Mother's Day, which is celebrated on the same day in Brazil and Canada. I wrote that poem for my mom in 1995, and my mom always loved it, the pictures are from our family vacation to a city called Balneário de Camboriú located in Southern Brazil. The year is 1984 and I was only 9 years old isn't my mom totally gorgeous?!
I had scanned those pictures a few years ago, but only restored and retouched them this past week for this project, I am very happy with the results
Information on how this is also a layout remake project can be found on this Forum thread.
