About Me
I have been digitally scrapbooking since about 2008. A few years ago I started designing my own scrapbook kits and posting them for free on my blog. I still post free things on my blog, and of course I have listed lots of things here on Pixel Scrapper in the Commons section, and most months I participate in the blog train. I am proud to say that I completed a project 52; many of those scraps are posted here. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have two sons, and two wonderful daughters-in-law, three granddaughters and one grandson. My profile pic is my oldest granddaughter and myself enjoying some cheek to cheek time and playing with Photo Booth on the computer.

In June 2013 my dad turned 80; he mentioned he had always wanted to see Mount Rushmore so I took him and my mom on a road trip to cross this off his bucket list. Just south of Mount Rushmore we happened upon this gorgeous mountain lake and I had to stop and snap a few photos. I used a couple of settings on my camera to take these two pics; the top one is a setting that lets me select a color to remain and everything else black/white, the bottom photo is the panoramic setting (I discovered this one quite by accident on this trip…needless to say I didn't read the instruction book before leaving on the trip)

I love the contrast of the bright blue lake against the brown corkboard. Great arrangement of everything and wonderful clusters. I'm a font hoarder and wonder what font you used for the title? Really a striking layout!
