Hi all! I'm Carrie. I've been digiscrapping since 2011, but I was a traditional paper scrapper for many years before that. I live in Colorado with my husband and two kids, who feature prominently in my layouts, and we absolutely love to get outside and enjoy the dry and thin air (no, really, we do).
Hey, I'm Anna. I live in Kansas City, MO, I've pretty much lived here my whole life, and I've been paper scrapping since 2005, and digi scrapping since 2011. On a lot of places dedicated to digiscrapping, I'm kinda an oddball. I'm no mother (& no interest to become one, so don't...), and I'm not married but have been with my boyfriend since the stone age (or so it seems, high school was a while ago, about 15 years). I've been coloring outside the lines my whole life. I machine for a living, which is pretty unconventional, and I love it. You're bound to see a lot of weird things in my scrapbooking, usually having to do with one of my many interests or one of my favorite places, events, people, animals, and so on (more on that in my profile).
Hi! I am Lori Moore and I am a southern girl, avid crafter, photographer, baker, canner, retired school teacher, and now, a digi-designer. I have done scrapbooking for way longer than I want to admit. Even before Scrapping was popular, as a child (many moons ago), I would save money and buy photo albums (those yucky sticky ones) for Garfield comic strips, for my stamp collection (which absolutely ruined any stamp that could have possibly been worth a dime), and even for notes and paper keepsakes (wedding bulletins, church bulletins that had something special, funeral bulletins, pressed flowers, you get the picture). Today, I love doing nature shots, all my animals (dogs, cats, chickens), my four kids and their friends, and anything interesting I can find around me.
I began digi scrapping as a preschool teacher, after making 20 year long scrapbooks for my students, all in paper, and paper piecing on most pages. There had to be an easier way, and found digiscrap (as primitive as it was 16 years ago) and here I am today!
Oh, magnetic albums. My grandma had a number of those, especially with pics of my dad and aunt growing up. I don't know why people thought those were a good idea, between the striping covering the pics and sticking to the front of pics and so on, but that's what was around back then (it's not like you had much better options, right?). Of course, now everyone knows better. They were already on their way out when I was coming up in the mid-80's into the 90's, so I just relied on crappy mashed up ripped up pocket photo albums that were around back then. My aunt had a huge project 10+ years ago where she "excavated" pics from my grandma's magnetic albums, had the pics scanned, restored, reprinted and put into a proper scrapbook. My grandma was over the moon about how my aunt pulled it off without her seeing any evidence of it, and still has that album on her shelf at her house.
Hi! I am Melody, somewhere in the mid 40s, ha! I started scrap booking a few weeks after i got married. A CM rep came after me bc my wedding was featured in the paper and she knew I would have great photos and lots of friends to get hooked. We did! I kept up to date scrapbooking til 2004 when we started adoption process for a child from China. got behind a few years then really dug in to get her scrapbooks up to date. Over the last 12 years as a mom I have been behind on my pages about 2-3 yrs. Started digital scrapbooking about 4 years ago but still doing it as scraplifting. I am not creative enough to think up designs but love to copy with the things I have (even if it is a paper page. Love to plan and organize.
In the last 3 years we have been going to WDW or disney cruises yearly and I now have extra to scrapbook. So this summer I looked around the web for some disney digital stuff and somehow found sites that led me here even thought this isnt in that specific area I needed.
I did get myself caught up thru 2014, woo hoo! And wanted to get 2015 completed before the Christmas season where I wont get to scrapbook til January. So, I started my list of what i needed and found myself drawn to the quick pages instead of building the pages. i enjoy templates and once I get the bulk done will do many of those. And my scrapbook will have paper scrapbooking too (pesky school photos!). But I did 5 pages yesterday with quick pages, done in 1.5 hours! That could be my new addiction.
When I first started scrapbooking in 1999 my husband didnt get it. the money I was spending, the time I was spending doing it, everything. He once asked if I was going to scrapbook the junk mail, lol. Well, when I get caught up, I just might!
Thank you so much for all the freebies and I will buy stuff too. Cant turn away a need for the perfect item. My 12 yr old daughter is not frilly so she will not want all floral heavy pages and too much on a page overwhelms me but I love the different peoples page designs that go from full frilly floral to just simple!
Hello all . My name is Rosemary MacDonald and I am from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. I am rather new to scrapbooking , but very addicted already (lol) . I am a wife ,mother and grandmother.
Hello everyone I am addicted to Scrapbooking and I came across this site about a week ago and have been visiting everyday since! I use to paper scrap but not so much anymore I am addicted to digital scrapbooking now I am so much i need like 3 large hard drives for all my kits and photos LOL
Hi everyone! My name is Lisa and I live in Door County, Wisconsin. I just recently came across your site and I am loving it! So different from any scrapbooking shop/forum/gallery I have seen--in a super good way! The picture I shared will be temporary, but it is actually a favorite picture of one of my grandmas. I will post a picture of myself as soon as I get one taken. I have always been behind the camera and shied away from having my picture taken...perhaps a little hypocritical as i am trying to get others to let me take their pic? I am recently realizing the error of my ways, in that I really would like to give my kids (grands, great-grands, etc.) evidence that I actually lived, so I need to rectify that.
In a nutshell: 2 boys (one older, one teen), 2 sassy girl cats, LOVE everything about digi-scrapping and am just recently trying my hand at design.
Welcome Melody, Rosemary, Brittney, Rachelle, & Lisa! It's so nice to have y'all here with us. I look forward to getting to know y'all and seeing your layouts.
Hello, my name is Ann...I'm currently living in Alabama and happened to come across your site while downloading a scrap freebie from a blog site lolol I use both Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop....mainly I'm a tagger although I am very interested in digital scrapbooking. I have a certificate in digital design that I earned from online classes at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division and it was through those classes that I was able to obtain and learn how to use Photoshop. My goal is to use my knowledge of digital design to help supplement my hubby's income...I had really wanted to earn a degree in graphics design but there was a requirement that you had to be able to draw...like really draw...no stick figures (which is my specialty btw)....so graphics design was a no go lolol
I am a stay at home mom of two...three if you count hubby lol....my daughter will be 16 next month (Lord help me lolol) and my son just turned 7....yes he was our little surprise judging by the age difference hehe ;P I actually found out I was preggo with him the day before my hubby was set to deploy to Afghanistan (good timing was never my strong suit either rofl)...he had been in the Air Force for 13 years but was medically discharged for medical reasons.
Anyhoo....that's a little bit about me...nice to meet you all and I look forward to your creative inspirations =D
Hello, I'm Robbie. I'm a Happily married Domestic Goddess of 3. I live in Nampa, ID with my family our 3 chihuahuas, 2 rabbits and 7 chickens. We have a small city homestead we're getting going. I don't digital scrapbook but I love to Glam Plan and wanted to try my hand at making my own layouts. So here I am. Can't wait to get started.
I am Jo of JoCee Designs, wife of one crazy Englishman, mother to two amazing teenagers (a daughter and a son, or as we say.. a pigeon pair!)
I came to digital scrapbooking late 2006 after my younger brother passed away unexpectedly at age 33. I was looking for something, anything, to sooth my soul and give me an outlet to express myself. I feel blessed by Ash that he led me to find this wonderful craft called digital scrapbooking. I had tried my hand at traditional paper scrapbooking but realised soon enough it was not for me. So, finding this wonderful craft was a complete Godsend, or Ashsend as I like to think of it.
Hello all! I am Liz. I live in Southern California with my son and our three dogs. I love all of the embellishments that I am able to collect through the site. I actually found the site through Etsy in a way. When I was searching the web I found Marisa's name and recognized it and decided to take a look. I love it! Lots of fun to put things together!
Hello
sorry for my angais, I only speak French, I use google translator.
I am a housewife, I love cats, you often see on my scraps pages.
I scrap for 7 years and I love that!
Hi! I'm Faith. My husband and I live in Texas with our 5 kids and 2 dogs on a small farm. We primarily homeschool but I also teach part time (2 days per week) at an enrichment program for local homeschoolers - Science, Math, and Drama if you can imagine that combination! I got started paper scrapping about 2001. I started on digital in 2008 and then took a break in 2010 when my youngest was born! About a year ago he started asking why he didn't have any pictures in his album and I jumped back in. So much has changed and I am learning new things all the time. Happy to be here.
Hello-My name is Kim,I live NSW Australia I am 54 .I am just learning Photo Elements 14.And am trying my hand at digital scrapbooking.I hope to do some digital pages soon and show them here.
Hello to all "Pixel-Srapper-Friends!
I want to introduce myself and to apply for the gallery access.
My name is Arite Nowak and next year I'll be a half a century old! That sounds terrible at, but I do not feel so old.
These lines I translate with Google, because my English is so bad, please understand!
Even as a child I had to love hobbies like painting and crafts, and everything that had to do with our native language. I wrote poems and stories, but the shapes of the pages I loved even more. I snipped and often drew for days, until my mother had to be carried off of it.
First I wanted art and German study, but because my voice did not work this. You would be too weak to assert myself in front of a class ... well, I tried a couple of years this and that. Until I came into contact at a publisher with Indesign, Photoshop and books, and display design. The stronger I inspired me for this! I sit still after 22 years as a media designer many hours a day on the computer, even at night I can not solve myself. Because I'm looking for creative ideas and try to keep me on the Internet up-to-date. And it still makes a lot of fun!
Lovely to meet everyone here! And thank you everyone for your warm welcome. I really appreciate it. Look forward to chatting with you all.x.
Hello and thanks so much! Excited to be here
